I hope you have all had a good weekend & your weekend is even better!
Even though this week has been a shorter week at work this week truly feels like it has gone on for like ever. Such a manic week it has definitely tested me you could say especially being full of cold. But hey the week is over with now, time to move on & think next week is a new week right? Well thats the way I now try to look at things. Put a positive spin on it!
I am a HUGE tea lover! I do not drink coffee one bit but tea it is like the best thing. Tea solves everything I truly believe that. Most kinds of tea I drink but Early Grey I have to say is my ultimate favourite. Some people cannot stand the stuff because they believe it is too perfume like tasting but I love it.But due to orders by my doctors I have had to cut down on the amount of caffeine intake I have. Which has been annoying but health is more important than anything right? So I now have to limit the amount of tea I drink. So I started recently trying different fruit or herbal teas simply because they are caffeine free. So I thought it might tell my brain it's drinking normal tea when I'm actually not. To begin with I will admit I wasn't really enjoying it but as time has gone & I have tried more & more flavours I do really like them. Okay it isn't the same as normal tea because you don't have milk & the tastes are nothing like the same but it is what is needed. I have found I enjoy the more fruit teas more so like Strawberry & Raspberry, Or Cranberry, Strawberry & Raspberry. I usually just buy them from my local supermarket. I buy the actual tea bag form but I have tried loose tea when in a cafe recently having a catch up with a friend. Suki' Tea in a berry blend & it was so nice & I found it more stronger tasting than the tea bag form. So I found myself wanting to try tea in a loose form.
I started to look for places to buy loose tea leaves from & come across Teagime which is a subscription box of different teas! I bet you haven't come across that before right? Not only that but all the tea is fresh which is unlike supermarket teas where they are more dust.

see instant results but thats the same as everything.

The boxes come with instructions on how to use your tea infuser so how like to fill it up & things. Which I thought might be a little hard but it could not be easier!
All you simply do is:
*Remove the bottom cap of the tea infuser
*Fill it up with tea leaves but ensuring to leave enough room so the tea can infuse
*Put the bottom cap back on
*Place the tea infuser in your mug of hot water
*Leave for 3-5 minutes to let the flavours start releasing

Hello Everyone!
Happy new year! I cannot believe we are in 2017! How is this even possible?! I don't know where the last year has gone. I feel like I blinked & it was over but I am definitely thankful for last year.
Last year I got to work with so many lovely companies alongside my blog & Instagram. I never thought from day one that I would be able to find companies to work with & actually be blogging for them. My blog as you may not know started as just a way for me to channel my thoughts & emotions into through my journey with mental illness. Which over time it become more of a way for me to talk about my love of fashion, make up, beauty & also still life in general. But overtime I then was lucky enough to find so many lovely companies to work with & I really cannot thank them enough for there kind words & support. Not only from them but also the other lovely bloggers I have come across & continue to show support not only for my blog & Instagram but also my everyday life & wellbeing. So from the bottom of my heart thank you so much!
I really cannot wait to see what 2017 has in store not only for me but also my blog!
I am so excited to get back into blogging & work alongside more amazing companies.

Now that Christmas is over with & New Years is out the way I am back to the most important thing : Skincare. After all you only get one skin so you have to look after it. That's what I believe.
One of my favourite high street brands is Nivea. They are not only a good quality brand but they are also affordable. So it's perfect if you don't want to pay for a higher end brand but you want something that is going to actually benefit your skin. Some brands I find you can get you try them & they make no difference to your skin.
I have a big love for micellar water from L'Oréal. I absolutely love the stuff! I do swear by it.
I always use it just after I have taken my make up off, just to remove any remaining oils or dirt from my face. But Nivea do 3 in 1 cleansing micellar wipes. Which are perfect for taking make up off with even stubborn waterproof make up. Which can be harder to remove. The wipes help cleanse & moisture your skin while removing any make up. I always use wipes to remove my make up with. I find them the best thing to use on my skin to remove make up with.
As part of my skin care I love to have a good facial wash. After I've removed my make up, used micellar water it's good to use a product which helps make your skin feel refreshed & also cleanse it. A new facial wash I have come across & recently started using is Nivea's daily essentials creme care cleansing cream wash. As it does say in the description the wash is a cream based texture which is nice & smooth & also thick. I love a facial wash to be of a thicker consistency because I always feel like it works on the skin better & it definitely then feels like it is cleansing & adding moisture into the skin. Not only that but it does also protect the skins natural moisture balance & stops is from drying out. It not only makes your skin feel nice & soft after but it also actually makes it feel like your skin is clean. Some products I find you wash your face with them & even after your skin still doesn't feel clean & cleansed. I hate that feeling because it feels like you've just done a skin care routine for no reason.
Another product I think is so important to use this time of year is hand cream. This time of year the cold just dries your skin out & at points your knuckles crack & really dry out. Well I find mine do especially when the weather is really cold. One thing I cannot stand is dry hands. They feel so rough & horrible I hate it. So I try to look after them as best as possible by applying hand cream pretty often. I think I have a good hand cream with me wherever I am. I have a tube on my desk at work to apply through out the day & I carry one in my hand bag usually. A hand cream I love are ones which not only care for your hands but also your cuticles. One I have purchased lately & find good is Nivea smooth care hand cream. Which is 24 hour care for both hands & cuticles. Which is made with shea butter. You can also pick up anti age care hand cream. Which for older skin is more beneficial. The thing I love about the Nivea hand creams is they don't leave your hands greasy after, they aren't over powering fragrances & also they are pretty fast drying.
One of my favourite things to buy for work is a high street brand fragrance whether it's a perfume or a body mist. I save my more expensive perfumes for weekends & special occasions or I would get through bottles & bottles of the expensive stuff. Most of you may still remember the fragrances So...?
They have recently brought out a new range of body mists which are exclusive to Superdrug.
I got three of them to try out:
White petals which a floral sweet kind of scent.
Vanilla Milkshake which like the description says is a vanilla scent.
Watermelon which like the description also says a watermelon sweet scent.
They are the perfect size to put in your handbag when you are out & about for the day or for work. To keep you smelling nice. They are all such lovely sweet scents but my favourite has to be the white petals. It is such a lovely smelling scent! So definitely have a look for them in Superdrug & check them out!
Back to normality tomorrow & back to work again but I am looking forward to getting into more of a routine I have to say!

Good Evening! I hope you all had a lovely weekend & your dreaded Monday wasn't all that bad for you!
Christmas is now fast approaching! It's only round the corner now. I finally finished buying all my presents yesterday but I still have all my wrapping to do. I don't know what's worse the buying of it or the wrapping? Christmas truly isn't the same when you grown up. It's pretty sad really.
As you all might have guessed by now with my previous posts for me skin care & having healthy looking skin is so important to me. I will admit I haven't got the best skin in the world but I do try my best to look after my skin as best as I can. Especially as I am actually a qualified beautician too so I have no excuse in not knowing how to look after my skin. I did suffer with acne a little & problem skin when I was like 10-11 years old & was prescribed cream by the doctor & even as I've got older I do sometimes end up with problem areas to my face but I think must people end up with spots even if it is just one area at some point. If you don't then you are so so lucky! I wish I was but I'm just not.

Hello everyone!
I am starting to get terrible at keeping up & writing a post lately! I think it's because Christmas is around the corner & I have been visiting family before Christmas & doing my Christmas shopping & things. But I really need to write more! That will definitely be a New Years resolution I think.
This time of year the cold weather just seems to dry out your skin. Well I know it dries out mine. My lips go dry & crack, my skin by the corner of my nose dries out & it just feels a little more dry than normal. I think going from out in the cold to the warm inside seems to do this. Well it contributes to it that's for sure.
Also as we all know we are not getting any younger. I know I'm not sadly. So recently when buying skin care products I have tried to start choosing items which perhaps contain some kind of anti aging ingredients to try & start to help my skin. I didn't want to have to yet but i thought I start now then it will definitely help for the future.
I decided to try a new brand in skin care products, I do tend to try several different brands but more recently I have used clarins. But this time I've chosen a brand called Purelogicol.

I love a good toner & as a beautician I think they are a key part of your everyday skin care routine. So I cannot wait to get started with these & see what happens with my skin. I don't have to worry too much yet about ageing skin but I do believe looking after your skin now will benefit you when you are older. So there is definitely no harm in starting early!

I hope you are all having a good week so far. We are nearly in December now. I really don't know how this can even be possible! This year has gone so quick it's flown past!
For anyone that knows me knows that I love water! I am always drinking as much water in a day that I can. Not only because due to my previous medical issue with my kidneys but because I do actually love the taste of it. I am not particularly a fan of squash. It's too sugary for my liking. Don't get me wrong I like ribena but I don't rarely drink the stuff.
People tend not to like the taste of water on its own because they don't like the taste, or it's good for you so they don't like it or many other reasons. But I have found a new way to jazz up plain water to give it a fruity taste & its healthy for you!
Aquatiser is a company that offers a variety of bottles to help make drinking bottles in a range of designs to help make it more fun & also help mantain people's health by encouraging them to drink water in a different way. Which I think is very clever.
Aquatiser is a fruit infused water bottle that offers a healthier alternative to sugary drinks. Aquatiser has different detachable compartments which assemble together to create the bottle. This makes it easier to use and clean.
What makes it better is the bottles are easy to use.
Simply place chopped up fruit or other healthy options into the bottom compartment. Screw on the middle juicer to extract the flavour and to also prevent the fruit from floating to the top. I have to have my water cold I cannot stand water even at room temperature it just doesn't taste as nice. It is so better cold. So I also have the aquatiser ice ball. Which allows you to have it with ice. You simply add water through the top hole & freeze for at least 4 hours. You can even add fruit inside the ball tobcrwate a fruit frozen pop! Perfect for the summer season!
It literally is my new favourite bottle & is even helping to maintain my healthy skin & ensuring I still get my water intake.
So this is perfect if you tend not to like the taste of water but want to drink more & be healthier.
