No Time For Ageing

15:55pm
Hello everyone!
I am starting to get terrible at keeping up & writing a post lately! I think it's because Christmas is around the corner & I have been visiting family before Christmas & doing my Christmas shopping & things. But I really need to write more! That will definitely be a New Years resolution I think.

This time of year the cold weather just seems to dry out your skin. Well I know it dries out mine. My lips go dry & crack, my skin by the corner of my nose dries out & it just feels a little more dry than normal. I think going from out in the cold to the warm inside seems to do this. Well it contributes to it that's for sure.

Also as we all know we are not getting any younger. I know I'm not sadly. So recently when buying skin care products I have tried to start choosing items which perhaps contain some kind of anti aging ingredients to try & start to help my skin. I didn't want to have to yet but i thought I start now then it will definitely help for the future.

I decided to try a new brand in skin care products, I do tend to try several different brands but more recently I have used clarins. But this time I've chosen a brand called Purelogicol.
Purelogical is an anti-ageing skincare brand with a range of collagen-based skincare products and supplements. Their ethos is based around the idea of beauty starting from within. Using a combination of their supplements and skincare products you can use to help reveal a rejuvenated, youthful and radiant complexion.

I love a good toner & as a beautician I think they are a key part of your everyday skin care routine. So one of the products I wanted to try is the intelligent toner which contains normaseb which helps balance the sebaceous function of oily, dry or combination skin. It has a cooling formula which helps to remove traces of cleanser, helps to refine the pores & also helps to restore your skins PH level. It also contains pomegranate extract which helps energise skin cells while also soothing with also chamomile which the toner contains too & along with aloe Vera which leaves the skin feeling soft, hydrated & refreshed!
Toner is used in the morning & evening after you have cleansed your skin. Gently apply it with a cotton pad & gently sweep it over your face & neck. Taking care to avoid direct contact with your eyes.

The second item I got was the pure hydrolysed collagen peptide skin supplement. Because I am quite a sucker for good supplements to help with skincare & wellbeing. These capsules are used to help boost your collagen & reduce the signs of ageing. The supplement is used to help viably reduce fine lines & wrinkles, boost collagen, increase skin moisture, decrease pores & improve the skins elasticity.
In one box it contains 90 x 600mg pure collagen capsules which is a months supply. You simply take 3 capsules before bedtime with a glass of water. Purelogical do advise to use the capsules for three months to get the best results & to contain after to keep on going results.

So I cannot wait to get started with these & see what happens with my skin. I don't have to worry too much yet about ageing skin but I do believe looking after your skin now will benefit you when you are older. So there is definitely no harm in starting early!

Even grazia have revealed madonna uses the collagen capsules!

The right vitamins

22:46pm
Hello everyone!
We are half way through the week now! Well for me as I am lucky enough to have Friday off as it is my birthday. I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about that though. Everyone likes a birthday abit of attention for a day but I hate them thought of being a year older. It's a scary thought getting old. I don't know why but it always has scared me.

Recently I have been looking for some good vitamin tablets to help improve my skin & nails. I have never tried anything like that before but I have always wanted to give it a go to see what difference it makes. I am not really a fan of my skin. It has got better since I've got older but I am still not 100% happy with it. It seems to go through stages at times. One minute it can seem glowing the next it it seems spotty in places. It makes you feel so self conscious & you simply cannot cover it up with make up because it makes it look worse. They can also dry your skin out wearing too much make up to try & cover them up. It can make it even worse than before.

So instead I decided to try & find something that will help my skin more in the long run not just a temporary fix. I come across Laviish who a U.K. Based health & beauty brand. They are supplements which contain vitamins, minerals & supergreens. Sometimes you cannot be get enough of what you need from food or your intake. You cannot get all essential vitamins like A, C & E, and minerals such as zinc, iron & magnesium.

Laviish do capsules for your skin, beard, & hair. They come in just a months supply if you want to try it short time to see if it works for you or you can get a 3 months supply. So depending on what you are looking for & what time period you are looking for.

I just got a months supply to see how I get on & I have only just started to take them so I will keep you posted on how I get on with them & post some results too. But I cannot wait to see the results & see what happens.

My delivery come so fast! & the customer service I received was brilliant. To me that's such an important thing & also helps me want to go back to the company!

I am so excited to see the results!

Love a face mask!

19:06pm
Hello everyone!
I hope you're all having a good week! Half way through now then it's the last bank holiday weekend before Christmas. I'm not really too sure how I feel about that. I swear I've blinked & this year has gone past.

Anyway recently I've discovered a new thing I want to share with you all!
I love facial products & love trying new things on my skin. Especially as sometimes I can have pretty troubled skin. So when I find a product I love I do tend to stick with it because using the wrong product it can make my skin have a break out & I definitely do not want that if I can help it!

Garnier have recently brought out a tissue mask. I have used one of these before, I received one in a birch box a while back & I tried it & I have to say it was a pretty weird thing. For those of you who don't know what they are it is like what it says a mask made out of like a material abit stronger than your normal tissue & it has cut outs of the eyes, lips & nostril area. You line these areas up with your face & place the mask on your face. While the mask it full of moisture & helps hydrate your skin.

The one I picked up was Garnier - Moisture bomb tissue mask - Super Hydrating revitalising mask.
I got these from boots on special at the moment for just £1! Bargain!
The pack contains one mask & no they are not reusable!
1 mask is meant to equal 1 week of hydrating serum.
I brought two packs because I thought just trying it for myself once won't make much difference.
I wouldn't say I have really dry skin but in some places I do get dry areas so I thought this could help.

When picking the mask out of the packet I was surprised at just how much moisture the mask had on it. It felt so full of product!
*You simply take the mask out of the pack
*Unfold the mask carefully
*Apply the White tissue to your clean skin making sure the blue film is facing outwards
*Smooth the mask gently down on your skin
*Remove the protective film & dispose of it
*Leave the mask on for 15 minutes
*When removing the mask massage in any excess serum or use a cotton pad to remove

After I removed the mask my skin felt very hydrated. I had a little bit of excess serum left so I massaged it into my face rather than removing it. Why waste the product? That night my skin felt so soft & clean. I definitely felt it was a great pick me up for my skin. Especially in this hot weather!

So they are definitely worth the money! I would definitely use these again! I have seen in different countries they do more than one type but in my local boots I could only find this one. So I'm not sure whether there will be more different ones to come. But if there is I definitely look forward to that.
They may also look weird when you are sitting with it on but try not to let too many people that. You may give them a fright!

But if you suffer from dry skin or love a face mask definitely try these.

Have a good evening!
