Summer Outfits To Kill

It has been a while since I have actually wrote a blog post I have to say!

Most of my time is focused on my Instagram page now I will admit. I just find it more active with viewers than the old fashioned reading of blog posts. Or is that just me?

Anyway this weather & this time of year is the best!

I am such a sun baby I have to say. It always makes your mood & everything else so much better. 

Plus I find the outfits & clothes can be better to pick. From the colours, style & other things.

During the summer I normally tend to team a summery top up with ripped jeans. Especially when the weather isn't quite hot for shorts or a cloudy weather day. Then it is my go to choice. The summer evenings can also be cool still so sometimes a thin cotton shirt or blouse can be a good choice.

I was looking around for something that would fit that category & come across Just Your Outfit on Instagram. They are an online fashion brand with such a choice of clothes & also more importantly affordable! Which is a must when shopping for clothes. They can also be found on ASOS market place where you can make a purchase from them, they also sell male clothes too.

So I picked from them a white embroidered tassel embellished shirt. The shirt is so light & thin which is perfect for those summer evenings or a cooler summer day. Plus the embroidered front makes it different that just a plain shirt & gives though boho kind of vibes which is what summer outfits sometimes need. I hope you are having a fab week?

The weeks are all merging into one at the minute I swear. Or is that just me with that feeling?

I am a huge lover of watches I have to say. I have one for more than every day of the week. It is the perfect accessory for every outfit. You can find something for each outfit to mix it up & make if different.

I hope you are well & having a good week. I have gone back to work this feet after my foot injury. It is feeling a lot better I have to say. It's not 100% back to normal but getting there.

I am a huge lover of anything personalised! Anything that you can customise & make it your own especially with things like initials I love!

So when I came across the brand Tinkalink I absolutely loved it!

Travel Socks

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are well & having a good week.
I cannot get over this weather at the moment! It is so so warm! I like the warm weather & the sunshine but this is a bit on the extreme side especially when you have to go to work still.

As you normally know I usually tend to talk about beauty products but not this time. This is on a bit of a different subject!

I love a snazzy & different pair of socks. I know in this weather currently it's not something we need to worry about but when the winter comes I love to have different socks. Who likes to just have normal plain socks right? Not me I like ones with different designs & patterns. Especially Disney I will admit I'm abit of a sucker for them!

I recently come across a website Travel Socks.
Travel socks offer a range of different brand of socks all with fab colours & designs/patterns! There literally is a pair of socks for everyone. Whether it's knee highs, ankle socks, patterned, spotty, stripy. You name it there is a design for you for both men's & ladies.

I picked two different pairs of socks from two different brands but both with heart style patterns.

The first brand I chose was Sokisahtel. 
From them I picked a cute heart striped ankle sock with a love heart heel. I found these super cute. They are white, with navy blue stripes & hearts, then a white heel with a red heart at the back. 

The second brand I chose was Soxo.
From them I picked again a ankle sock. This time pink in colour with white hearts all over the sock.

Both of these socks I think are super cute! They are girly & something much better than just a plain sock. I mean why have a boring pair of socks for each day?

I found the prices on Travel Socks very reasonable. I know some places I have looked at before have been quite expensive for what you are getting. So I was very happy when I came across the prices. I found the delivery quick & the service that I received was great. I could not fault the whole process.

Little Handmade Treasure

Good Evening everyone! 

The weekend is now almost upon us! yay!

I am so glad about this. To me this week seems to have gone on abit. It has different been one of those funny weeks you could say. I do feel a bit deflated this week I have to say. It's been one of those weeks were personal things in my life have kind of hit me & I just feel drained. But onwards & upwards. 
I definitely have a more positive approach on things these days though than what I used to. For anyone that know me on a personal level or has read through my blog at the start will know I battled with severe depression & anxiety for some time & have been very open about it because I think more people should talk about it because it is more common than you think. I have been on medication for a while now & due to my yo-yoing moods & things I was kept on it. But over the past few weeks my dosage has been lowered & for once I am actually starting to feel in control. 

Anyway as you may have worked out before I am a lover of jewellery. I am not one for wearing a lot of it at once but I love to wear a watch, bracelet & necklace mostly. I think a bracelet teamed with a watch just makes it complete.

Recently I have quite started to like something with a bit of bohemian style. More so when it comes to bracelets.

I first come across Ren 92 on instagram & fell in love with some of their pieces because to me they are different than other styles of jewellery that are about. I found their jewellery was unique & bohemian handmade. The bracelet I get I love! Especially teamed up with my iwatch or white Michael Kors watch.


Ren92 is a UK based company who focus on selling handmade crystal & 
gemstone jewellery & other spiritual gifts. The company was started in 2014 so it is a pretty new company. They started it & then stopped it but started it up again in mid 2015. Changing its name & logo. Plus also making the jewellery more different. 

Their bracelets are made up of chipped gemstones or raw nuggets so not one bracelet will ever be exactly the same.

I chose the Howlite with flower beads. I absolutely love the marble effect. I have had a thing for marble for a little while.Plus I love the look of bead bracelets. They are simple yet cute I think. I think the little gold flowers to the bracelet also give it an extra bit of detail.

All their jewellery are a reasonable price too considering they are handmade & of a different style. Which I don't mind paying a little bit more for anyway being handmade pieces. 

I definitely have my eye on a few other pieces from here too!

Hello Everyone!
So another weekend has been & gone! I feel like I am abit behind a the moment! It was my birthday on Friday so I have had a birthday weekend I guess you could call it. But they really are not the same when you get older are they? If anything I find them more scary at the fact I am another year older. Or am I the only one to have that thought?

As you may all well know I am a sucker for make up! Any new brand comes out or I find I like to try. Whether that be a well known brand or an up & coming brand spanking new brand. I love to find new products to give them a go & see what they are like for myself.

I am a big user of Instagram I won't lie. I think it is such a great source to companies. Old & new, big or small. It's perfect to find them & see products they have to offer without looking at their website straight away & by someone's Instagram page you can get a feel of what the company is like & about the products they sell.

I have pretty recently come across an Instagram page of a company called Fiinx who is both a make up & jewellery store from Birmingham. Fiinx is a home grown company, in which amazingly the team consists of the owner & her 3 children who help her get the orders together & pack them up which I find so cute! I love the fact it is a lovely family business & the team work that goes into it. Which to me makes it even more special!

They retail fashion jewellery, make up brushes & at the moment they have their very own range of Matte lip creams. But they are going to be adding more to the make up range in the future. Which I will definitely be looking out for!

I am a lover of simple nude shades nothing too in your face & over powering. For this time of year I think nudes are the perfect shade! All the browns & simple pinky shades are lovely. Which is what the Matte lip creams are in colours.

I picked out two colours: Whiz - which is more browner shade but not too dark in colour & night shadow - which is more slightly pinky brown colour.

When I first tried them out I was so pleasantly surprised just how well they apply. Some lip creams that are Matte I have found dry out quickly when you apply them leaving they to look as though they dry out your lips & do not leave it leaving your lips with a nice look at all! But these did not do that, they apply well, they don't have a horrible smell to them & they also last. Even after like two hours you could still notice I have lip colour on. Which I love because some you apply it & within an hour you could not tell you was even wearing any!

The matte lip creams come in a choice of 10 colours. All lovely colours!

So if you are like me & love trying out new brands then definitely try them! Not only for make up but also to check out the cute jewellery pieces! Which are so reasonably priced.

Hello everyone! 
Monday has been & gone! Yay. I think Monday is possibly the hardest day of the week. My Monday today wasn't too bad though as I was off work today as I had a few personal things to do. So it kind of made it bearable you could say. But back to it tomorrow. 

I have to say at the moment I absolutely love the embroidery trend! There is something about it. I think it adds something different to the outfit. It can turn a plain top into something very girly. Most of the embroided patterns are floral so it makes something seem very girly yet so unique. There are so many places that now have this trend in the shops. I don't think you can go in any shop or visit any website without seeing some embroidered piece of clothing. But that's just fine by me. I can probably guarantee by the end of autumn you will probably own at least one piece of this trend if not more. If you do not get sucked in by it you are mad. 

Looking through all the cute pieces of this trend, recently on Instagram on a page I follow Rococo dolls house, I come across this cute shirt. Now I'm not always a fan of shirts because I don't know why I always feel like they don't make me feel girly or feminine enough. May sound odd I know! But hey. But this shirt has a pussy bow to the neck detail & it makes it look so lovely! It makes it look girly & not forgetting to mention it has floral embroidery on the bow. It is super cute! I just fell in love with it. 

The shirt comes in a navy colour & the neck scarf can be removed if wanted. But I will not be removing it! It adds a pattern & a lovely splash of colour to the shirt. Making it unique. It like nothing i have seen anywhere else. It's normally bomber jackets, jumpers or jeans that you find embroided everywhere at the moment. Not a shirt. 

I think it would be perfect teamed up with a pair of jeans, nice pair of flats or ankle boots & a Mac or tailored coat. Perfect for a day out outfit. Or even teamed up with a pair of tailored trousers & shoes for office work attire. It's such a cute piece to have & so on trend. Not only that but for £20 it's amazing!

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here again! Yay! This makes me very happy! I feel I need to catch on some sleep & get some more blog ideas done & im mention. Where I work full time during the week I feel like I neglect my blog. I'd love to write more but I sometimes just don't get the chance to. You must know what it's like? 

Where I work full time & I'm always on the go anyone with an iPhone like myself will know what it's like for your battery power on your phone to get low. Don't get me wrong when I'm travelling in the car I plug my phone in to charge so I don't use all my battery up by playing music but sometimes I think it would nice to have something I can carry around with me in my bag to charge my phone up if I need to.  Whether that's in case of an emergency or whether it's because I want to check my social media accounts, anything. I have been looking at mobile phone cases that charge your phone before but I always found them bulky & ugly looking. They don't make your phone look very pretty at all & I can't help but like a nice phone case on my phone. Surely that's just a standard thing right? 

Anyway I came across power banks which you plug your USB charger cable into the bank & then plug it into your phone & it charges your phone battery. So they are portable & small enough to put in your handbag & carry around with you. Perfect! Especially for anyone on the go all the time. 


I was lucky enough for a lovely company called On trendz send me out a power bank for my iPhone. But they do also fit most smartphones. The bank I got sent out is in a lovely geometric print which is blue & white in colour. So it makes the print nice, bold & colourful. They do however come in other prints. Floral & many other designs. The bank can provide your phone with up to two full charges! Which is pretty good for something portable just to keep in your bag on the go. It is not large in size so it perfectly fits in a compartment in your bag making it easy to carry around with you. Also it does come with a torch at the bottom in the bank. Which will come in handy if your can't find your keys in your bag. Which is definitely like me. 

The power bank is rechargeable,  It comes provided with a micro USB charging cable which you connect to the bank & then either to the USB post in your computer or you can also connect the USB cable to a plug from the charger of your phone or kindle. This is what I do, it saves connecting it to the computer if you don't need to. It is so simple & a handy thing to have! 

I now carry mine around in my bag with me so if I need to top my phone battery up anywhere so I can't carry on blogging I can! Such a perfect idea!

Night out outfits

Happy Sunday! A new week is about to start once again! I think I blink & the weeks just fly by!
It's my birthday near the end of this month & it really doesn't seem like it was long ago since my last birthday. I think it's actually pretty scary just how quick time seems to fly. Or is that just me?

As it's my birthday coming up I've been trying to plan ahead & find the perfect outfit for my birthday night out but once again I'm fussy & really struggle at times to find something I actually like. There are always so so many websites to choose from but I still can never quite make my mind up. Because let's face it, it has to be perfect! It is my birthday after all! Can't have anyone out shining the birthday girl! True though right?

Recently on Instagram I've come across some such lovely boutiques who sell stuff that's individual to any other place & I love that! I like to find stuff that not everyone will be wearing on a night out because let's be honest I hate going out & seeing someone wearing what I am. I cannot think of anything worse. I like to be different & not matching with everyone else that you see.

I'm not really an overly girly girl. I'm not a big one for sparkly things. Don't get me wrong I do like abit of glitter but I'm not a huge one for it to be on everything I wear. I also don't really like anything too revealing. I will admit I'm a petite frame so I don't really have much to show I feel like so I tend to stick to clothes that don't have too much of a plunge neck or have your belly on show. It just really doesn't make me feel comfortable. But as I've said before I am quite a fan of body suits. They are comfortable & don't involve any tucking in or adjusting yourself. Only thing they can be a nuisance when you need to go to the toilet.

I come across a new boutique on Instagram De Luxxe boutique,who are based in Essex & only been launched for a week! Their pieces were different yet classy. I come across this bodysuit & fell in love! It was so detailed!

The bodysuit has like a beige colour backing with like a lace effect over the top & full length sleeves which can be hard to find. Long sleeves seem to be one of the hardest things to find sometimes for going out outfits. Even this time of year. The sleeves & body piece have flowers down them in white sequins. Which makes it look like lace. It's just beautiful! I tried it on with some black leather trousers to team it up with but it needs more like a skirt or something high waisted as the bottom half of the body suit is a plain material & this is visible when wearing it with the trousers I tried it on with but you can still see the effect it has. I teamed it up with this sparkly choker which goes perfectly! 

The bodysuit does also come in grey & also black. I have to say I am a big fan of the black too which is show on the website teamed up with a pair of high waisted leather trousers. It looks so nice! I truly think they are beautiful. I love how detailed they are. Not only that but it also looks expensive but the bodysuit is only £25.99 which I think is value for money. You'd pay the same for a top in say Zara but it won't be anything as different as this. 

It is definitely a contender for my birthday night out outfit! That & the chokers! Which were £10 each.  They are a simple design but yet so glam. Perfect finishing touches for any night out outfit.

Time for a change...

Happy Sunday everyone! 
I'm not quite sure how it is Sunday already. The weekends always go oh so quick! I really do not know where time goes. It's actually pretty scary. 

The change in the weather this weekend & towards the end to this week has made me realise even more just how close to Autumn & winter we are. The nights are drawing in & it gets so dark early now, the change of the temperature too! Don't get me wrong it's not cold but it certainly is cooler. 
So that means the summer wardrobe goes away & out comes the Autumn & winter wardrobe. Change of colours, length of sleeves, change of footwear. But I have to say I pretty much am I fan of this season! I love laying up & cute Pom Pom hats, roll necks, cosy jumpers. Or is that just me being odd? 
After the little photo shoot I had with a friend a few weeks ago I definitely am looking to do an Autumn one when the leaves change colour & leave a perfect colour background. I am definitely looking forward to that! But that's not just yet so let's not get too carried away & outfit planning already! 

Due to the change in the weather one thing you definitely have to change is your footwear! I don't think you can really get away with flip flops & sandals over here now. Unless you want wet toes & slippery shoes. For this time of year my footwear completely changes. Out come the boots & shoes. 
One thing I do really like are loafers! They keep your feet dry & they are so nice with the perfect outfit! I tend to wear them with jeans. You can't wear them on a night out as such well not for girls but for during the day outfits they can most certainly smarten them up. 

Now I am a lover of normal colours so black, beige, nudes. Especially when it comes to shoes because let's face it they go with anything! But it's nice to mix it up & go for something different especially when most of the Autumn/winter wardrobe is darker colours. Why not add abit of colour? 
So when I saw these loafers from Rococo Dolls house I fell in love! 

They come in silver or gold. Now I'm more of a silver kind of girl, especially jewellery. But I have to say the gold ones are just as nice! So it was definitely a hard choice on what colour to get. But I went with silver. These will go with most outfits & I think are super cute! They are perfect for dressing an outfit up & adding abit of colour but not too over powering to it. 

Also they are not just being plain they have tassels on them which is a lovely extra added detail to them! They are so comfy too! & I sometimes struggle to find shoes which I find comfy. I just absolutely love these shoes! They will definitely get a lot of use out of them this Autumn & winter!

Just a little two piece!

Hello everyone!
Happy Saturday! So we have made it to the weekend & yes I have a whole week off work next week. I'm not going away anywhere but I'm going to focus on some blog related things & have a week to myself to just chill & take some time out. So more than just a weekend off for me this week :)

This weekend the weather has definitely changed. It's become so Autumn like. It's just miserable. Horrible wet weather. I want the sunshine back! For the summer I saw several cute two pieces but I will admit I can be very self conscious about my body. Yeah I might be a size 6/8 but to me I hate my stomach! I hate any piece of clothing that puts it on display & im also not a fan of my legs. I'm not sure as to why I just don't like them I feel they are disgusting. So if I can help it I won't get them out. I tend to stick to jeans or for nights out I stick to leather pants or a jumpsuit so it's all hidden. But two pieces look so cute! Perfect for a summery outfit which could be wear during the day with flip flops or dress it up more for a night out with a pair of heels. Either way they are pretty much a perfect outfit choice so why have I not tried them before?!

I come across a page on Instagram Casey's fashion closest & instantly fell in love with the pieces she had to offer! A pair of pleat culottes, which I have to admit I am a fan on the culotte look recently. They look very classy teamed up with a pair of heels & cute top & accessories! Anyway another thing that caught my eye was a floral two piece. Which was out of my comfort zone! It was a skirt & crop top with both straps & off the shoulder straps. So perfect for the summer! The colours were bright but not too in your face. I fell in love! Not only that but the lady who owns the business was so so kind & helpful when I messaged her & like I have said before I love a place that offers such friendly customer service! Not only that but I got talking to Karlene & found out more about her business! Karlene is only 31, she was fed up of retail jobs & was made redundant so she signed up for the princes trust in January & signed up for a business course. By May she had set up her own business in her own living room! That definitely shows determination & I think takes courage. It's not something everyone would do but if you put your mind to it you can do anything!

I have to say after trying to outfit on after it arrived I liked it more on than I thought I would! I can be so fussy sometimes but the colours & print won me over! Not to mention the price! This is in the sale at Caseys fashion closet for just £10! Such an amazing price I think. That on its own is a seller. I definitely will be purchasing more items from there I know that.

Oh so personal!

Today I could not be anymore excited to get home from work & open my post!
As I knew what had arrived for me! I felt just like a kid at Christmas!

Recently I have fallen in love with literally anything personalised. You name it you now seem to be able to get anything personalised. Bags, make up cases, phone cases, keyrings, almost anything.
I purchased a phone case a little while ago now which has my initials on it & I absolutely love it!
I think it looks lovely especially with the little heart that's on it too. It's a cute little personal touch & it's obviously something not everyone has what with my very own initials on it & that I love.

So when I came across a page on Instagram which does more personalised things I was very happy!
The company is called DS London. The company is based in London & all items are hand crafted all in Britain! For me that's something unique you cannot say many things are both locally & also made in Britain these days. Most are from China or whatever so to me this was even more of a great thing.
All items are hand made & crafted individually. So not one item is the same. You can pick up personalised leather Keyrings, leather bags, card holders & other items are soon being added to their collection. But they are all beautiful pieces! I love the bags too! All the items I find are not only lovely to look at but also look very classy & elegant. A must have in my eyes. 

Looking through their Instagram to me helped me get an idea of what the company offered & I was very interested in that. Their Instagram page showcased their items so well & they all look so good! 

When I opened my package today after work I was in love! 
At the time of ordering I was stuck on what colour to purchase because they all looked so good & all the colours would go with anything. But in the end I decided after help & advice from a friend. Yes thank you Steph :) 
I went for mink, a nice simple colour but also classy & a colour that goes with a lot & is better than a boring black or tan. I think it helps make the writing stand out better too. The quality of the keyring is just beautiful. I am so so happy with it & glad I got it to go with my car key & house key. Let's face it keys can be hard to find in your bag once you put them in there. Especially with that large size bags I have. This keyring will definitely help me find my keys easier. That's definitely a bonus, not only that but it will also look good on a bag, or on my keys. 

I just love love the fact it goes so well with my phone case! 
So pleased with this! It's the little things you could say. 

The people who I contacted at the company have been so lovely & kind to me. Such amazing customer service & to me that's so important.
