Time For Tea

Happy Saturday Everyone!

I hope you have all had a good weekend & your weekend is even better!
Even though this week has been a shorter week at work this week truly feels like it has gone on for like ever. Such a manic week it has definitely tested me you could say especially being full of cold. But hey the week is over with now, time to move on & think next week is a new week right? Well thats the way I now try to look at things. Put a positive spin on it!

I am a HUGE tea lover! I do not drink coffee one bit but tea it is like the best thing. Tea solves everything I truly believe that. Most kinds of tea I drink but Early Grey I have to say is my ultimate favourite. Some people cannot stand the stuff because they believe it is too perfume like tasting but I love it.But due to orders by my doctors I have had to cut down on the amount of caffeine intake I have. Which has been annoying but health is more important than anything right? So I now have to limit the amount of tea I drink. So I started recently trying different fruit or herbal teas simply because they are caffeine free. So I thought it might tell my brain it's drinking normal tea when I'm actually not. To begin with I will admit I wasn't really enjoying it but as time has gone & I have tried more & more flavours I do really like them. Okay it isn't the same as normal tea because you don't have milk & the tastes are nothing like the same but it is what is needed. I have found I enjoy the more fruit teas more so like Strawberry & Raspberry, Or Cranberry, Strawberry & Raspberry. I usually just buy them from my local supermarket. I buy the actual tea bag form but I have tried loose tea when in a cafe recently having a catch up with a friend. Suki' Tea in a berry blend & it was so nice & I found it more stronger tasting than the tea bag form. So I found myself wanting to try tea in a loose form.

I started to look for places to buy loose tea leaves from & come across Teagime which is a subscription box of different teas! I bet you haven't come across that before right? No I hadn't either so I was very excited of my find! Every two weeks they send you out 3 different teas to try. Which are ALL hand picked for you & your needs.

You get 3 different types of tea one for each part of the day:

Morning: Kick starts your metabolism
Afternoon: Help aid digestion
Evening: Helps curb your cravings & is meant to help you sleep.

When you sign up for Teagime you fill out a questionnaire which they ask you about health related topics to ensure they send out tea's which will benefit your health & wellbeing. Which you do not get if you simply handpick your own tea from a shop. These are especially catered to you. Not only that but all the tea is fresh which is unlike supermarket teas where they are more dust.
Not only that but the tea's can also help aid you to lose weight by helping burn fat, if that is what you are looking for. You do not
see instant results but thats the same as everything.

The tea's you are sent are also based up on your flavour preferences, caffeine requirements, skin issues & menstrual cycles. You can leave out ingredients that you don't want.

When my Teagime box arrived it was packed with the 3 teas best suited to my own preferences. I was set out:

Morning - Rose Champagne
This is a invigorating floral blend. It contains:
*Rose which cleanses the blood & organs
*Oolong which helps lifts your energy levels & enhance your mood
*Strawberry to help aid digestion & burn stored fat

Afternoon - Cocoa Cheer
This tea is to help you recharge through the afternoon, It contains:
*Cocoa Shells gives you that chocolate fix without actually having it. Also helps control Chronic fatigue & burn fat

Evening - The Light Fantastic
This helps you become calm & cleansed before bed time. It is also supports  your immune & digestive system. It contains:
*Fennel which strengthens the kidneys & stomach
*Elderflower which guards against allergies
*Chamomile to help aid sleep

Also in the box comes two tea infusers. They are in the shape of a tea bag which I thought was so cute! I had been debating finding like a teapot or a cup with a tea infuser in it so I could get loose tea of my own but now I don't need to with this boxes from Teagime. The boxes come with instructions on how to use your tea infuser so how like to fill it up & things. Which I thought might be a little hard but it could not be easier!

All you simply do is:

*Remove the bottom cap of the tea infuser
*Fill it up with tea leaves but ensuring to leave enough room so the tea can infuse
*Put the bottom cap back on
*Place the tea infuser in your mug of hot water
*Leave for 3-5 minutes to let the flavours start releasing

It is such a unique & great idea I think! Especially when you think of all the good things the tea's contain & how the ingredients are catered to you to help YOU with your own requirements. I will am looking forward to trying more of the boxes & their tea's!

The Perfect Glasses

Happy Bank Holiday everyone!

I hope you all had a lovely easter & you are not all in a chocolate coma.
I have felt very unwell this weekend so I haven't actually done as much as i'd like to have done. Which does really suck but it could be worse right? Well that is what I keep telling myself. Have to keep positive right?

As you may all know from one of my previous posts I wear glasses. I have wore them for a few years but a few weeks ago as I kept getting persistent headaches I had to go & have my eyes tested again to see whether it was my glasses not being the correct prescription which were causing my headaches & funny enough ever since I had my prescription of my lenses changed *touch wood* I have not suffered from them since. So I cannot tell you how important it is to ensure you get your eyes tested every two years like they recommend because it can make so so much difference. I work on a computer all day 5 days a week, 9-5:30pm.
So for me I cannot be without them at a computer if I am on there for a long period of time, also for reading & if I am watching the tele for a long period of time. I have to wear them.

I go to my local specsavers for my eye tests & also for my glasses I buy them from there. When I brought them they were two for one. At the time I chose not to have a pair of sunglasses because I didn't think I would really need with my prescription in & also I could not find a pair I liked enough. To me they just didn't seem to suit me.

But after a few weeks I decided I wanted a pair of prescription sunglasses more so for when I am driving or out & about & have a headache. So I took a look online to see if I can find any sites that do some lovely pairs.

I come across a site called "Perfect Glasses" who offer both prescription glasses & sunglasses plus also normal sunglasses.
Perfect Glasses was launched in 2009 & is now one of the largest online providers of prescription glasses & sunglasses in the UK. They have over 1000 frames to choose from, of all different brands & styles. They supply the finest quality prescription glasses & sunglasses for the lowest prices in the UK.

Their glasses start from as little as £9! Their prices are unbeatable & can be 14 times cheaper than the high street store.

Whether you are looking for just looking for a own named brand or likes of the designers such as Fendi, Gucci, Guess, Lacoste, Jimmy Choo,Opium, that's just to name a few! I absolutely fell in love with so many of the styles they had to offer on their website! I am an absolute designer lover I will admit so yes my glasses have to be designer. My normal glasses are Tommy Hilfiger & Moschino

The style of sunglasses I was looking for was a fashion statement kind of pair, black in colour with some gold features to make them not look so dark. But even of that style I had a look to pick from! I had to tell myself I only needed the one pair for now!

You may think how can you buy glasses without getting to try them on & seeing if they suit you but with a tool on there website you can! You simply click on the "Try On" button, take a picture of a close of your face & see how the glasses look on you. Which is perfect because just by a picture you can tell whether or not the shape of the glasses & style will suit you.

I come across the brand Opium on the website & fell in love with some of their styles! But one style that caught my eye was:

Opium OP1431

Which are a black style of frame with black tinted lenses, the arms of them are gold & have a gold wire nose arch & extra gold bar detail to the front of the glasses. So they are like the normal style sunglasses you get but have prescription lenses in them to suit me. These frames should of been £78 but as they have an offer of "Pay half" they had 50% off so I was able to get them at the price of £39! Which is an amazing price!

You simply tell them of your prescription needs & thats it!
Enter your mobile number & you get to track the progress of your order & also get a text message telling you when your order has been despatched & gives you the tracking details to track your parcel right up to your door.

I have to say the service was quick & hassle free. I will definitely be using them again! Not only because they are value for money but they also offer a helpful, friendly & reliable service. Plus they have a vast selection of frames, brands & styles to choose from so there really is something for everyone.

When they arrived I have to say I loved them even more! They are such a gorgeous style! Plus they come with a case, cloth, scratch resistant coating.

You can check out their ranges for both glasses & sunglasses & find what ones suit you at:

Take care,
