Reseed Haircare

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are well?

I have come across a new hair care range called Reseed
Reseed are a hair loss brand which focus on 3 main things:

* Prevent further hair loss

* Restore hair follicles to their normal function to promote & support natural hair growth.

*Strengthen weak & dormant follicles to regrow healthy hair, helping to reverse the effects of hair loss

Their products are formulated with the purest ingredients such as clean herbal fragrances. They are also not tested on animals or use ingredients that have been either.

I got from them a shampoo & conditioner to try.

Ginkgo & Sabal Fortifying Shampoo

Packed with pro vitamins & minerals this is a ultra nourishing shampoo which contains active ingredients to cleanse away substances that can block your hair follicles. It also restores the hairs structural fibres. The Ginkgo Biloba extract revitalises hair while Sabal extract promotes hair growth. It is also packed with antioxidant vitamins, it strengthens hair & prevents hair loss.

Wheatbran Ultra Volume Conditioner

This is an advanced ultra volumising formula to help densify, thin, damaged & dry hair. It's enriched with herbal proteins to strengthen hair, also combined with UV filters & colour protecting vibrancy. It's a deeply hydrating & nourishing to prevent hair breakage. The conditioner leaves your hair feeling strong & healthy.

Both the shampoo & conditioner smell lovely & leave your feeling clean after them. The other great thing I do like is the fact they are not heavy products & do not leave your hair feeling horrible after using them. As some products can leave your hair feeling unwashed.

Poker Straight Hair

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all having a good week. Half way there now till the weekend.
I went back to work this week after having a week off, it always feel like you have never had time off once you go back.

I don't know whether I have previously discussed on my blog about my hair?
I have naturally curly & wavy hair, from a baby I had naturally curly hair as in ringlets kind of curly. I thought as I got older it may grow out of my hair a bit but it hasn't. The longer my hair has grown the more curly/wavy it has got. Especially the underneath of my hair it still to this day ends up with ringlets. It can be pretty annoying but I think I have grown use to it by now. So as you can imagine trying to find hair straighteners that actually keep my hair straight & don't dry & frazzle the ends can be hard.

I have pretty much always sworn by GHD's to the point I would not buy any other hair straighteners than them. But I have recently decided to try & find a different brand of straighteners for a fraction of the price because you can buy other beauty & hair products for half the price of brand names so why shouldn't you be able to find a cheaper priced hair straighteners?

So I come across a brand called Xtava, who are an American brand. They strive to make every day a perfect hair day. They have a hair tool to suit everyone! Whether you want to achieve poker straight hair, curly locks or create that perfect blow dry look. They provide salon grade quality products which you can use in your own home.

I come across the Xtava pro satin infrared straightener. Which I found to have great reviews on their website of them. Where people had said "it works great on thick curly hair, it's one of the best straighteners they have used". Over 100 great reviews! So they definitely sounded good.

The Xtava help to lock in moisture, protect your hair cuticles & adds silkiness & shine to your hair that lasts all day. Regular heat damages the surface of your hair which can cause frizz but with these infrared rays it works by penetrating the innermost layer of the strands. Which heats them from the inside to the outside.  This means it causes less stress to your hair to make it look healthier & shinier. Leaving it stress free.

They also have a variable heat temperature so you can adjust the heat setting to whatever you want. You can change between 130 degrees to 230 degrees. The great quality ceramic heater enables the flat iron to reach maximum temperature within 90 seconds & allows for quick heat up recovery. Most importantly they have an auto shut off function so it turns off when they have been left unattended.

From just the first use I was so so impressed with the shine & the straightness that they give! I didn't really know what to expect but after seeing its results I was very impressed with my choice & the results they gave me. Especially when my hair is so curly. It left my hair feeling smooth, silky & straight.

For the price they are a bargain & half the price of GHD's!

You can find them on Amazon or Xtrava at:

The right vitamins

22:46pm
Hello everyone!
We are half way through the week now! Well for me as I am lucky enough to have Friday off as it is my birthday. I'm still not 100% sure how I feel about that though. Everyone likes a birthday abit of attention for a day but I hate them thought of being a year older. It's a scary thought getting old. I don't know why but it always has scared me.

Recently I have been looking for some good vitamin tablets to help improve my skin & nails. I have never tried anything like that before but I have always wanted to give it a go to see what difference it makes. I am not really a fan of my skin. It has got better since I've got older but I am still not 100% happy with it. It seems to go through stages at times. One minute it can seem glowing the next it it seems spotty in places. It makes you feel so self conscious & you simply cannot cover it up with make up because it makes it look worse. They can also dry your skin out wearing too much make up to try & cover them up. It can make it even worse than before.

So instead I decided to try & find something that will help my skin more in the long run not just a temporary fix. I come across Laviish who a U.K. Based health & beauty brand. They are supplements which contain vitamins, minerals & supergreens. Sometimes you cannot be get enough of what you need from food or your intake. You cannot get all essential vitamins like A, C & E, and minerals such as zinc, iron & magnesium.

Laviish do capsules for your skin, beard, & hair. They come in just a months supply if you want to try it short time to see if it works for you or you can get a 3 months supply. So depending on what you are looking for & what time period you are looking for.

I just got a months supply to see how I get on & I have only just started to take them so I will keep you posted on how I get on with them & post some results too. But I cannot wait to see the results & see what happens.

My delivery come so fast! & the customer service I received was brilliant. To me that's such an important thing & also helps me want to go back to the company!

I am so excited to see the results!

Hair care struggle

20:07pm
Here we are at the start of a new week once again. I swear I blink & the weekends just disappear!
Does anyone else feel like that, or is that just me? Then it's back to the Monday morning struggling to get out of bed & back to work. Well for me the Monday-Friday office job it certainly is. But I cannot complain getting weekends as my time.

I think one thing I haven't ever blogged about before is hair care items. I have not once mentioned about products I use or like. I think there is a reason behind that, that no one actually really knows to be honest because it's not really something I don't think I've ever really spoken about to anyone but my family. But recently thanks to another blogger I have realised I'm not the only one to suffer from it....

For people that have read my blog, or know me know I have suffered from anxiety & depression for some time. It is nothing like it used to me months ago but at times I do struggle to come to terms with it & to me it's like a ticking time bomb I just don't know when it's going to happen again & it's going to reoccur. I've learnt how to deal with it & what to do to channel my thoughts into something else but it can still be difficult especially if things in my life seen a mess. But also from a young age (as long as I can remember,I think it was in primary school in fact)  I was bullied. From that day it first started I started pulling my hair out so bad I used to pull clumps of hair out in stress. My mum took me to the doctors & I was given a cream to help make it regrown & I had to wear my hair in a different parting to cover up the patch of hair missing. My hair did regrown but since then I have seemed to have struggled in leaving my hair alone & I do admit I pull strands of it out. It is called Trichotillomania, which is an impulse-control disorder, a psychological condition where the person is unable to stop themselves carrying out a particular action. I think that is why now my hair takes so long to grow & is shorter on one side. It's such a bad habit to get into & also a hard one to stop. I cannot even tell you as to why I even do it I just do. I keep wanting to try & find something to stop it or find a shampoo which can help hair regrowth abit at least. I do not have patches missing I just struggle in my hair growing quickly due to the strain I've put on my hair. So I guess that is why I don't really speak of hair care stuff at all. Because I do not really like my hair & also the struggle of Trichotillomania is pretty embarrassing to admit. Because I just feel it's something else people will think I'm odd for & abit of a freak. But I guess these things need to be spoken of in order to help.

I love the find a good shampoo & conditioner. I have tried out several brands before & yes I do change my shampoo & conditioner often because if I use the same one too often for too long it makes my hair start going greasy & it seems to stop helping my hair & just makes it feel disgusting!

I have before come across a brand OGX, I used the argan oil of Morocco after coming across it in boots on a 3 for 2 offer. I had never used argan oil before but it made my hair feel so soft & clean after. I also have pretty wavy, thick, wirey feel hair. The slightest bit of moisture in the air & that's it my hair goes poofy & no longer stays straight after straightening it. It can be so very annoying! Especially after spending so long on it. But this shampoo helped keep it less frizzy & also made it easier after blow drying it not to feel so full & thick. So recently as my hair is pretty dry I have come across another from the OGX range - Coconut water. I'm not a fan of coconut to eat but that smell of it I do not mind.
I got the shampoo, conditioner & also hydrating oil. All in the coconut water range. The coconut water is meant to help rehydrate & supercharge your hair to transform dry, parched hair into silky, shiny perfection! So this sounds perfect to try & rehydrate my hair!
I cannot wait to get trying this! The shampoo & conditioner you as you normally would any other, & the hydration oil you spray on damp hair after you have washed it, ensuring you spray it evenly & then blow dry. You can also spray a mist all over after to help add shine to your hair.

I shall definitely keep you posted on how it does to my hair!
Is there anyone else who suffers with Trichotillomania? If so have you got any tips how you cope or what shampoo you use if it is a special one?

Take care,
Love Lottie
