Summer Outfits To Kill

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are well?

It has been a while since I have actually wrote a blog post I have to say!

Most of my time is focused on my Instagram page now I will admit. I just find it more active with viewers than the old fashioned reading of blog posts. Or is that just me?

Anyway this weather & this time of year is the best!
I am such a sun baby I have to say. It always makes your mood & everything else so much better.
Plus I find the outfits & clothes can be better to pick. From the colours, style & other things.

During the summer I normally tend to team a summery top up with ripped jeans. Especially when the weather isn't quite hot for shorts or a cloudy weather day. Then it is my go to choice. The summer evenings can also be cool still so sometimes a thin cotton shirt or blouse can be a good choice.

I was looking around for something that would fit that category & come across Just Your Outfit on Instagram. They are an online fashion brand with such a choice of clothes & also more importantly affordable! Which is a must when shopping for clothes. They can also be found on ASOS market place where you can make a purchase from them, they also sell male clothes too.

So I picked from them a white embroidered tassel embellished shirt. The shirt is so light & thin which is perfect for those summer evenings or a cooler summer day. Plus the embroidered front makes it different that just a plain shirt & gives though boho kind of vibes which is what summer outfits sometimes need. Teamed with a pair of jeans, flip flops & the right accessories it makes such a great outfit! Effortless, simple but cute! Plus the shirt was only £15.

Night out outfits

19:21pm
Hello everyone!
Happy Sunday! A new week is about to start once again! I think I blink & the weeks just fly by!
It's my birthday near the end of this month & it really doesn't seem like it was long ago since my last birthday. I think it's actually pretty scary just how quick time seems to fly. Or is that just me?

As it's my birthday coming up I've been trying to plan ahead & find the perfect outfit for my birthday night out but once again I'm fussy & really struggle at times to find something I actually like. There are always so so many websites to choose from but I still can never quite make my mind up. Because let's face it, it has to be perfect! It is my birthday after all! Can't have anyone out shining the birthday girl! True though right?

Recently on Instagram I've come across some such lovely boutiques who sell stuff that's individual to any other place & I love that! I like to find stuff that not everyone will be wearing on a night out because let's be honest I hate going out & seeing someone wearing what I am. I cannot think of anything worse. I like to be different & not matching with everyone else that you see.

I'm not really an overly girly girl. I'm not a big one for sparkly things. Don't get me wrong I do like abit of glitter but I'm not a huge one for it to be on everything I wear. I also don't really like anything too revealing. I will admit I'm a petite frame so I don't really have much to show I feel like so I tend to stick to clothes that don't have too much of a plunge neck or have your belly on show. It just really doesn't make me feel comfortable. But as I've said before I am quite a fan of body suits. They are comfortable & don't involve any tucking in or adjusting yourself. Only thing they can be a nuisance when you need to go to the toilet.

I come across a new boutique on Instagram De Luxxe boutique, who are based in Essex & only been launched for a week! Their pieces were different yet classy. I come across this bodysuit & fell in love! It was so detailed!

The bodysuit has like a beige colour backing with like a lace effect over the top & full length sleeves which can be hard to find. Long sleeves seem to be one of the hardest things to find sometimes for going out outfits. Even this time of year. The sleeves & body piece have flowers down them in white sequins. Which makes it look like lace. It's just beautiful! I tried it on with some black leather trousers to team it up with but it needs more like a skirt or something high waisted as the bottom half of the body suit is a plain material & this is visible when wearing it with the trousers I tried it on with but you can still see the effect it has. I teamed it up with this sparkly choker which goes perfectly!

The bodysuit does also come in grey & also black. I have to say I am a big fan of the black too which is show on the website teamed up with a pair of high waisted leather trousers. It looks so nice! I truly think they are beautiful. I love how detailed they are. Not only that but it also looks expensive but the bodysuit is only £25.99 which I think is value for money. You'd pay the same for a top in say Zara but it won't be anything as different as this.

It is definitely a contender for my birthday night out outfit! That & the chokers! Which were £10 each.  They are a simple design but yet so glam. Perfect finishing touches for any night out outfit.

So definitely check them out girls!

A little personal touch

12:54pm
Happy Saturday everyone!
Hope you all have a good week, I had a week off work & I have been sick for the whole week of it & still do not feel 100% I cannot seem to shift it at all. I'm hoping it will soon pass because I feel so awful. I hate being poorly!

As you all know from my previous posts I am a total sucker for personalised goods! I got my gorgeous keyring from DS London & a personalised phone case too. I think I just love anything that I can put my name on to be honest. Surely I cannot be the only person who loves abit of personalised things?

I haven't really owned anything personalised jewellery wise. I have had the odd beaded bracelet but that is about it. So for a while now I have been toying with the idea of getting a necklace or bracelet personalised of course! But I kept deciding otherwise until I came across a shop on depop. For those of you or don't know what depop is it's an app where you can join & sell clothes, etc & purchase things...

I came across Di's Gems & loved the personalised items available! I am not a fan of big chunky jewellery because I have the most skinny little wrists & big necklaces tend to not really suit me. So I do tend to shy away from them but these were small & dainty! Just perfect for me!
She did a number of personalised items necklaces & bracelets. They are come in more than one style & both in silver or gold but I'm more of a silver jewellery kind of girl. Apart from costume jewellery I guess you could say. So the fact there was different styles & things were perfect! As it gives people a choice. Where as some places I have seen that have done them have just been one style.

When contacting to order I found it most friendly & welcoming & so helpful! As I have also previously said I love a place with good customer service as it's so important.

I think these items are just perfect for Christmas gift ideas what with that time of year nearly upon us!
Which I find just crazy! For anyone who loves personalised items or you are looking for something else different I definitely recommend checking out Di's Gems. She will be having a website go live soon but in the mean time you can purchase in other ways! Facebook, twitter or Instagram.
I will list the contact details below for them.

I simply love them! The bangle especially teamed up with a nice watch! Perfect arm candy!

Just a little two piece!

18:53pm
Hello everyone!
Happy Saturday! So we have made it to the weekend & yes I have a whole week off work next week. I'm not going away anywhere but I'm going to focus on some blog related things & have a week to myself to just chill & take some time out. So more than just a weekend off for me this week :)

This weekend the weather has definitely changed. It's become so Autumn like. It's just miserable. Horrible wet weather. I want the sunshine back! For the summer I saw several cute two pieces but I will admit I can be very self conscious about my body. Yeah I might be a size 6/8 but to me I hate my stomach! I hate any piece of clothing that puts it on display & im also not a fan of my legs. I'm not sure as to why I just don't like them I feel they are disgusting. So if I can help it I won't get them out. I tend to stick to jeans or for nights out I stick to leather pants or a jumpsuit so it's all hidden. But two pieces look so cute! Perfect for a summery outfit which could be wear during the day with flip flops or dress it up more for a night out with a pair of heels. Either way they are pretty much a perfect outfit choice so why have I not tried them before?!

I come across a page on Instagram Casey's fashion closest & instantly fell in love with the pieces she had to offer! A pair of pleat culottes, which I have to admit I am a fan on the culotte look recently. They look very classy teamed up with a pair of heels & cute top & accessories! Anyway another thing that caught my eye was a floral two piece. Which was out of my comfort zone! It was a skirt & crop top with both straps & off the shoulder straps. So perfect for the summer! The colours were bright but not too in your face. I fell in love! Not only that but the lady who owns the business was so so kind & helpful when I messaged her & like I have said before I love a place that offers such friendly customer service! Not only that but I got talking to Karlene & found out more about her business! Karlene is only 31, she was fed up of retail jobs & was made redundant so she signed up for the princes trust in January & signed up for a business course. By May she had set up her own business in her own living room! That definitely shows determination & I think takes courage. It's not something everyone would do but if you put your mind to it you can do anything!

I have to say after trying to outfit on after it arrived I liked it more on than I thought I would! I can be so fussy sometimes but the colours & print won me over! Not to mention the price! This is in the sale at Caseys fashion closet for just £10! Such an amazing price I think. That on its own is a seller. I definitely will be purchasing more items from there I know that.

Definitely check out Caseys fashion closet at:

Time to go out out

20:18pm
Hello everyone!
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend whatever you was up to!

So this weekend after a few weekends of staying in trying to get through a couple of things I decided to brave it & go out out. For those of you who don't know what out out means it basically means going out to like a club as opposed to just going out for a few drinks at a pub. I use the phrase quite a lot I have to say.
Anyway I said to myself I can't shut myself away for ever I need to dress up & go out & forget things in my head for a while. So I did but I won't go into how that ended....

During the week I was hunting through all my favourite websites & Instagram pages trying to find something to buy to wear it Saturday night. I will admit I can be pretty fussy. I'm not really a dress kind of girl, I really hate having my legs out. I seriously hate my legs. I don't feel comfortable at all having them out. I don't like short things whether it be dressss, skirts, shorts or playsuits. I seriously love playsuits lately but I always have to be careful because I don't like them when they are too short that your bum hangs out. To me that's just a no no. Talk about standards...

Anyway as you can see by that as I'm pretty fussy I decided I wanted a nice jumpsuit. They are perfect! They cover your legs, yet they are classy & comfortable to wear. Only problem is when you need the toilet! That can be tricky! Just try not to have to go too often. Some people aren't keen on them because they say it's like wearing a onesie or your pyjamas or something but I really don't think so! If you can the right fit, colour or pattern & style they can look so nice. They definitely are on my list to purchase more of! You can get causal ones for day time wear or more dressy one for evenings.

After looking about on all the websites I came across one of my all time favourite sites boohoo! I could easily spend a fortune on there! I find the prices so reasonable & you can always get offers on delivery charges or find discount codes to save some pennies. After all who doesn't like saving those!  I looked through on there & they had some lovely outfit choices I was spoilt for choice but I chose one which I immediately fell in love with! It come in a choice of different colours but I chose rose. Nice colour pink, not too pale & perfect for this time of year & not to mention the colour goes with my skin tone & hair colour. So that was that sorted.

Next I wanted a nice pair of shoes. As you can probably guess just like clothes I am fussy with shoes. I will admit I am not the best person to walk in heels I never have been & never will be. So I have to find a heel that isn't too high & it also solid & not a tiny thin heel. At times this can be nightmare because all you get about are thin heels or platforms & they are no good to me because I can not walk in them. I wanted something different, something not black & nothing too high. Yes that's difficult to find.

Looking through my Instagram on my news feed scrolling through I come across public desire I have heard of them before but never have I purchased anything from them. I logged on to their website & was so in love with the shoes & boots they sell! They do such a selection of different styles, colours, types of heels. So looking through the I came across the Rhys block heels in light grey faux suede.
They were the perfect heel, not too high, a colour that's different than black but yet would go with a lot of things. The style was just cute. I had to have them! Not only that but they were in the sale! £14.99!! Such a bargain for such a cute pair of sandals!
At the moment public desire have a sale on & oh my there are so so many nice shoes! You need to check it out but to not blame me for the hole in your purse that it burns!

When they arrived I loved them even more! They fitted true to their size, they were comfortable, looked exactly like they did in the picture where as some places don't always & they looked even better on. I definitely am sold on public desire. Not only that but they included a 20% discount code for me to use on my next order! That's definitely asking for trouble!

Definitely make sure you check them out! I paid extra for day delivery & they arrived no problems at all & well packaged. The
shoes are even individually bagged within the box.

Anyway here are some pictures of my outfit all together :)
