Good Evening everyone!
The weekend is now almost upon us! yay!
I am so glad about this. To me this week seems to have gone on abit. It has different been one of those funny weeks you could say. I do feel a bit deflated this week I have to say. It's been one of those weeks were personal things in my life have kind of hit me & I just feel drained. But onwards & upwards.
I definitely have a more positive approach on things these days though than what I used to. For anyone that know me on a personal level or has read through my blog at the start will know I battled with severe depression & anxiety for some time & have been very open about it because I think more people should talk about it because it is more common than you think. I have been on medication for a while now & due to my yo-yoing moods & things I was kept on it. But over the past few weeks my dosage has been lowered & for once I am actually starting to feel in control.
Anyway as you may have worked out before I am a lover of jewellery. I am not one for wearing a lot of it at once but I love to wear a watch, bracelet & necklace mostly. I think a bracelet teamed with a watch just makes it complete.
Recently I have quite started to like something with a bit of bohemian style. More so when it comes to bracelets.
I first come across Ren 92 on instagram & fell in love with some of their pieces because to me they are different than other styles of jewellery that are about. I found their jewellery was unique & bohemian handmade. The bracelet I get I love! Especially teamed up with my iwatch or white Michael Kors watch.
Ren92 is a UK based company who focus on selling handmade crystal &
gemstone jewellery & other spiritual gifts. The company was started in 2014 so it is a pretty new company. They started it & then stopped it but started it up again in mid 2015. Changing its name & logo. Plus also making the jewellery more different.
Their bracelets are made up of chipped gemstones or raw nuggets so not one bracelet will ever be exactly the same.
I chose the Howlite with flower beads. I absolutely love the marble effect. I have had a thing for marble for a little while.Plus I love the look of bead bracelets. They are simple yet cute I think. I think the little gold flowers to the bracelet also give it an extra bit of detail.
All their jewellery are a reasonable price too considering they are handmade & of a different style. Which I don't mind paying a little bit more for anyway being handmade pieces.
I definitely have my eye on a few other pieces from here too!

Nice & Clean
Good Evening Everyone!
Happy Friday!!!!
I swear this week has gone like SO fast. It truly has. I did think to myself that being the first full week back at work it would mean it would drag but it so hasn't. I can't be the only one to think that?
It is crazy to think we are like half way through January already! It is true what they say when you get older time really does start to fly.But lets not get into that because it always worries me you could say...
I will admit I am a total clean freak when it comes to hygiene, especially my hands!
Some people might say I'm abit odd or a bit of a snob when it comes to public places. Especially public toilets! I absolutely hate the places & try to avoid them at all costs. Simply because I know some peoples hygiene is not up to scratch! So it does mean I like to carry around an anti bacterial hand gel in my bag. Yes it may seem abit drastic but I'd rather know my own hands are clean & germ free from picking anything up. Wouldn't you?
So in my bag i carry around a small bottle of hand gel. I will admit you do get ones quite a lot which are pretty high in alcohol content & things I really don't like because the amount of times I apply the stuff in one day it tends to dry my hands out & then I am left using hand cream. So i tend to try to steer away from anything that does contain such a high content of it. Plus they do not smell no way near as nice as some of the others you can get!
So when I came across Merci Handy i was so happy! Because they not only have cute packaging but they also smell so good & come in several different scents.
Merci Handy was a result of three friends enjoying a lunch break out of the office. They have definitely given the dull classic antibacterial gel a jazz up & made it more fun. The hand gels are combined with skin comforting ingredients & gorgeous scents! While combating germs. They leave your hands feeling soft & clean. While also leaving a bit of a scent. They also contain little pearls to help give your hands extra goodness!
They are just the perfect size for putting in your hand bag &
carrying around with you. All you have to do is simply squeeze a small amount of gel on your hands & rub your hands together.
Merci Handy is now available from Topshop in the UK! So definitely give them a go if you are anything like me & love to carry a bottle around with you at all times.
Recently I have also come across a company who make the best soaps! The English Soap company. The soaps are made with pure vegetable oils & also contain Shea butter which makes them so moisturising & helps nourish the skin. They are also hand crafted by english garden fragrances. That is where inspiration is taken from for them.
All of the soaps come in the most amazing packaging! It makes you not want to open it they look that good! The soaps always leave my skin feeling soft. Even when you open the packaging you can smell the soaps through the beautifully wrapped packaging. They have such a strong smelling scent to them.
It is something you do not see very often these days. Not hand crafted things such as soaps like this. So when I find companies that do I tend to stick with them because i know they are made with the best ingredients & will do the best for my skin. Plus they are made so close to home to me so I feel like I am supporting local produce.
My two personal favourites are:
*Green Tea
*Honey & Camomile
You can find the soaps at:

Little Handmade Treasure
20:17pm
Good Evening everyone!
We are half way through the week now! Yay!
I cannot believe it's going to be Christmas next weekend! It really doesn't seem possible at all. Where has the time gone? The whole Christmas thing & this of year just shattters me. This week I have felt so tired even more than normal. I just want more sleep & getting out of bed in the morning is causing a struggle. Or is it just me who feels like that? I don't actually yet feel Christmassy at all or in a festive mood. It's true what they say it's never the same when you get older thats for sure.
I'm not a huge jewellery wearer.
I wear a few pieces like a watch, stud earrings & a bracelet & necklace every now & then. But I'm not one to wear lots of pieces at the same time. I'm also not a fan of big chunky pieces. I think it's because I am pretty petite, I have the skinniest wrists so I struggle to find bracelets & watches that do actually fit me well. Watches especially! If they have links in them I have to have half of the links removed in order for it to fit my wrist. Which can be frustrating as you can imagine.
Recently I have been loving the knotted theme jewellery. Since I saw a very cute one on Sam Faiers teamed up with her Abbott Lyon watch. It looked so so lovely!
Smaller more delicate pieces of jewellery are always hard to find I believe, so when I find somewhere that does such pieces I tend to go back & purchase from them. Not only that but I love buying from places where the item is hand made because no two pieces are the same which to me makes them unique. Also it means it isn't something that everyone has. It is also lovely knowing you have supported someone with their own small business & dream rather than just someone that mass produces something. It's something I think more people should support!
I come across Handmade Simplicity on Instagram & was immediately drawn to some of their pieces. They are danity, pretty, unique & also handmade & designed which adds such a lovely touch to it.
Lindsay the owner of Handmade simplicity has been in the jewellery industry for nine years & its only been since having her son that she started designing & making her own jewellery line.
The bangle is made of sterling silver & has a knot effect at the top of the bracelet. It is so simple but I think teamed with the right Watch it could look so lovely on the wrist! It's beautiful. I absolutely love it.
Not only that but Handmade simplicity sell a range of products from rings, necklaces, bracelets, bangles. All so unique & as beautiful as each other! They truly would make the best present for Christmas for someone or a birthday present, Mother's Day present or even a little treat for yourself & even better you don't have to worry about everyone having the same as you.
On their website they even give you a ring size guide so if you are unsure of your ring size you can use the page to help you.
Plus if you use the code: lottiejessica10 you will receive a 10% discount!
