I hope you are all week & having a good week?

This week seems to be another hard week I am literally having to take every day as it comes at the moment & try to keep myself busy from letting my mind wander. I'm not one for talking about my personal issues on my social media so I won't go into details with that.

I've recently come across a brand on Instagram - QPC UK (Quest Personal Care & Cosmetics Company). They are one of the beauty industries largest manufacturers of personal care products. They cover a wide range of products such as nails, cosmetics, gift sets, lip care, hair care, dental hygiene are just to name a few of the products. The products are animal cruelty free which I love.

Sheet face masks have become one of my favourite beauty products & QPC have such a collection of them. From vitamin C, to tea tree nose pore strips. There is something for every skin type going.

I got to try though the Collagen sheet masks which come as a pack of 2. The masks are enriched with Collagen which help to increase the skin's elasticity, hydrate the skin & also brighten the skins appearance. They are so easy to use & leave your skin feeling amazing! All you do to use them is:

*Remove any make up & cleanse your skin

*Remove the mask from the packet

*Apply the mask over the mask ensuring to soothe it to the face

*Leave the mask on for 20-30 minutes

*Remove the mask from the face & rub in any remaining product.

The other two products I got were make up related products as I have a lot of skin care products un-started at the minute.

Make up blending sponge 
We all love a blending sponge, lets face it we all have one in our make up bag right? I always find they come in such good use. I always use them for blending my concealer or applying a setting powder. This one is the perfect size for that. The sponge is latex free, super soft & perfect for contouring, highlighting or blending. They can be used wet or dry but I always tend to use mine dry. 

Make up brush cleaning pad

One of the most important things is to ensure your make up brushes are clean. It can cause your skin to flare up causing spots. So it it essential. What easier way to clean make up brushes than use this cleaning pad. It is designed to help you clean every make up brush possible & blending sponges. The fact it is made out of silicon means it is easy to wash off & dry. To use it all you do is:

*Place your fingers in the holder 
*Dampen the brush you want to clean & use a make up cleaner soap if you wish
*Clean the brush in a circular movement & rinse the brush
*Do this till the brush is clean & the water runs clear
*Lay the brush out to dry

I am so impressed with all these products & the quality of them.
I cannot wait to get my hands on more of the products from QPC.

Fresh Gleaming Start

Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a lovely christmas & new year. I do not know where the time went. 

I had in between Christmas & New year off this year which is the first time in like 6 years I believe so it was lovely being able to take some time out. Not only that but during this time I became an auntie again to a beautiful little girl ; Isla Jessica. She is a doll! Along with that already 2018 is trying to test me but I am trying to carry on & remain positive & just hope things work out okay. 

Whatever's meant to be will find its way right?

Anyway on another note I have tried using before a charcoal polish to help whiten my teeth but run out of it & never replaced it. So recently I have been trying another brand's version.

Laviish is a brand in which I have tried previously. But for skin & hair capsules. They are a UK based brand who provide skin, hair & beard supplements. So their products work from the inside. They contain specially selected vitamins, minerals & supergreens. So there is a product to suit everyone.

All of their products are manufactured in the UK & are also Smile teeth whitening polish is registered by the Vegan & Vegetarian societies & is leaping bunny certified cruelty free in animal cosmetic testing.

Laviish Smile Teeth Whitening Polish is carefully formulated with a blend of activated charcoal, coconut oil, essential peppermint & sunflower wax. 

It advises it improves teeth whiteness by up to 5 shades after 14days use. It is gentle on the gums & it approved by dentists. 

As the product is made of natural properties of activated charcoal it helps remove stains from your teeth & the peppermint helps give you fresh breath.






Where as the other charcoal whitening product I tried before was a powder this comes as more of a block form. Which means there is less mess. Which means it is perfect for that no spill.

The best thing about it is it is simple to use.

You simply:

*Brush your teeth with your normal toothpaste
*Then once a day use the teeth whitening polish
*Dip a separate clean toothbrush into the polish
*Brush gently in circular motions for 2 minutes
*After use rinse mouth & tooth brush

It is that easy to use!
I have only been using the product for a couple of days but it already makes my mouth seem fresher & my teeth are starting to whiten more. So I am excited to see the results after 14days.

Perfect Christmas Pampering

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are well & had a good weekend & start to the working week.

I literally cannot believe how quick Christmas is now coming round. Or is that just me? The lead up to christmas always goes so fast. You start the your advent calendar & thats it.

One of the things that I think most people forget over Christmas is to take time out for themselves & have a little pamper session. Because let's face it there is always so much to prepare for when it comes to Christmas. Sometimes you need some time to unwind & de-stress. Not only that but we all need that bit of TLC that you deserve.

So here are some of my top Christmas pamper goodies for that night in to cosy up & watch you favourite christmas movie:

Clipper Tea
What better to have on a night in than tea! 
Clipper tea is a UK brand founded in Dorset in 1984. They were also the first UK company to create fair trade tea. All of their products are natural even down to the actual tea bags material. Most tea bags are bleached to make them the pearly white colour that they are but not Clipper's tea bags. Which is why you may notice they are not the perfect white colour. Clipper sell not only different tea's ranging from Green Tea, everyday tea, white tea, coffee, hot chocolate & other hot drinks. I have recently been trying to be a bit of a health geek so I have tried the organic pure green tea. They come in cute tea tea caddies with clip to keep them fresh. What perfect way to get into the christmas spirit than a Christmas themed printed face sheet mask. I literally love face sheet masks. Skin Truth Skin Care

I hope you have all had a good week & weekend. 
Time seems to be going so quickly! But good news is I am off work for the week yay.

Recently I've started using a new brand of skincare goodies "Skin Truth". I had previously heard of them through being a beautician as I have used some of their products while training & things. But I had never tried the skin care products on myself. I had looked at them when going to Pro Beauty at the Excel but never actually brought the skin care range.

So I thought I would bite the bullet & try some out for myself. As it's always good finding new products which work well on your skin.

Skin Truth is a professional beauty range which includes advanced ingredients while giving a enhanced salon experience. All their products are also Paraben, Sulphate & Mineral oil free. They literally also have a range to suit everyone for everything from skin care, to manicure products to aromatherapy goods. You can purchase them from Salons who stock them, from beauty shows, to beauty trade shops or even online to try them for yourself. But I am literally so impressed with the range of products they have to offer.

My skin type is pretty much combination. Simply because I can have oily areas to my face & in places it can become dry also.
So from the skincare range the best is the "Equalising". This range helps to balance your moisture levels while using natural ingredients. It helps to even your skin tone & equalise your oils in your skin to give you a healthy complexion. Which we all love. 
They contain Orange Blossom which helps to heal delicate skin, Ginger extract to help balance the skin's oil production. 

So from the Equalising range I got 3 products to try:

Toner - This helps to clarify & refresh your skin. It is perfect for using daily on your face to help remove any oil, traces of make up.It is a soft & light product which should really be included in your daily skin care routine. Especially when it is so easy to use. You just apply it to a damp cotton wool pad & apply it to your face & neck making sure you avoid the eye & lip area. 

Mud Mask - I absolutely love a face mask. There is nothing better than sitting with a face mask on your face & washing it off & your skin feeling super smooth, soft & glowing after it. I think they are such an important product for a skincare routine. This mask is enriched with dead sea mud which helps to purify your complexion by removing any impurities & excess oil. You apply it to clean skin & coat your face & neck with the mask. Then leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with water & dry your face.

Velvet Soft Facial Serum - I will admit I don't always use a serum or a facial oil on my face everyday. It's just not something I have used daily of my face until recently because I do have oily areas to my face I have to be careful what kind of serum or facial oil I use as they can make my skin more oily. This serum helps to restore natural radiance to your skin. This serum is suitable for all skin types, it is enriched with Acerola & rose extracts which help to replenish & moisturise the skin. 

The quality of these products are amazing & they are literally value for money. You do get salon quality for such a good price. I cannot wait to try more of their products! One of my favourite products from my skincare range is a hot cloth cleanser. It literally is my go to product. I currently use No 7 & swear by it but I might have to try the Skin Truth one & see what it is like.

The Perfect Brow

The nights are definitely drawing in now & autumn is on its way. You can tell the weather is cooling down, nights getting darker earlier. I don't know whether I'm glad or not.

To me having great looking eye brows are important. I think they finish off any make up look & they look great even with the natural kind of make up look. Because lets face it there is nothing worse than a untidy, bushy, harsh brow. Some people's you can tell as they don't look natural & they look drawn on with harsh lines & for me that is not a great look.

I love finding a good pomade or brow powder but recently I have come across something different I have not tried before from Eye Of Horus Cosmetics which is an Australian brand. They provide an eye make up range which is based on the formula of the ancient Egyptians which include organic moringa oil "oil of the pharaoh's" & ancient castor oil. They believe eye make up offered a magical power & protection to the wearer. Over a short period of time Eye of Horus has already become a cult favourite of celebrities & professional make up artists. It can also be found in countries such as New Zealand, Ireland, Iceland, Hong Kong, the Philippines, UK & Europe! They have also had some of their products voted the best product at the International spa & beauty awards in 2014, 2015 & 2016! Their products are NOT tested on animals, made of natural ingredients, paraben free & vegan friendly. 

The product I have picked up from their range is the Brow fibre extend. For people who have sparse eyebrows this item is perfect! Because the fibres literally fill in the area you do not have much hairs or if you are just looking for a product to give you a fuller brow look then this is literally perfect for you! 

It gives you an instant definition & volume to your brows in just one application you can notice the difference. It contains organic brow enhancing botanicals such as seaweeds & Moringa oil which help to assist hair growth.It thickens & lengthens your brows but still keeps them natural looking. So you don't have to worry about that harsh line look. 

The brow fibre extend contains mineral pigments to give your brows a subtle colour so it comes in 3 shades: light (husk - for blondes), medium (dynasty - for blondes wanting darker brows or light brunettes) & dark (nile - for dark brown/black hair). It sets your brows it is also long lasting so you don't have to keep reapplying it. Which is also a bonus lets face it.

It is so so simple to use & to apply. When I first saw it I was not convinced that it would work well & it would be a nightmare to apply but it is actually so simple. Sinner is the sweet fragrance, it has a bouquet of Jasmine & orange blossom with notes of vanilla, mandarin & plum. I didn't know what to expect as the bottle makes it look quite dark but the scent is just gorgeous.It's a sweet scent & is long lasting.

Buxom Full On Lip Polish - Shade: Dolly

Dolly is the most popular shade from Buxom. It makes your lips tingle, shimmer & shine. The colour is pretty pigmented but helps to make your lips look fuller & plumper. It is also packed with vitamin A & E. It is such a gorgeous nude shade perfect for everyday wear.

Buxom Lash Mascara - Shade: Blackest Black

I am such a sucker for a great mascara. So I was very pleased to see a new mascara in with this month's subscription. This mascara is said to transfer your lashes immediately as it dramatically add volume to your lashes. It is also packed with vitamins, it's clump resistant, it darkens, lengthens, curls & separates your lashes. It is also an hourglass shape wand to help coat your lashes from root to tip.

I hope your week is going well & it isn't going too badly for you.
I have gone back to work this week after my operation & I have to say I am shattered. It really has taken it out of me that's for sure. But I shall get there.

With the warm weather & in general I do seem to suffer with dry or chapped lips. In the winter they do tend to become a lot drier however recently I have started using a different high street brand Carmex.Who have recently brought out a summertime lip balm - lime twist.

Carmex have been providing relief to dry lips since 1937 & can be found in so many shops on the high street. They have provided us with so many different types of lip balms over the years, but this one I have to say simply because it gives a summer vibe. So this is perfect to carry around in perhaps your beach bag on the go or even your handbag whether it be for summer days or winter. There is always a use for a lip balm in your bag I have found because you can always reapply then. Carmex helps to keep your lips hydrated & keep them fully protected to leave you with smooth lips. The latest edition to Carmex - Lime Twist also comes with SPF15 So it definitely means it is great to apply after swimming, being exposed to sunlight or wind etc. Carmex definitely has to be one of the best lip balms I have used because of the moisture it brings to your lips & also the fact it is amazing value for money!

Also previously in one of my posts I mentioned about a make up brand Pur when I tried one of their compact eyeshadow palettes. Well they




have recently brought out Velvet matte liquid lipsticks & On point lip liners which come in the most gorgeous shades!

The velvet matte lipsticks come in a mousse like texture which give you a long lasting flawless matte finish. Without that drying look to your lips. It also helps to improve the appearance of yours lips like smoothing out fine lines. The lipsticks come in 10 highly pigmented shades. So there us a colour for everyone!
