So it has been like forever & a day since I have actually bothered to post. Not only on here & also on the likes of my Instagram. I don't know why but recently I have seemed to have lacked in motivation. I couldn't really tell you why either to be honest. Things haven't been awful but you know what it's like life gets in the way sometimes & shuts you down.

To me keeping your teeth as healthy, clean & white is so important. It is true what they say one of the first things you notice about someone is their smile! So having the best looking teeth as possible is very important in my eyes.

I have tried many beauty products when it comes to teeth whitening. I've tried whitening kits, charcoal products, special toothpastes. You name it I have tried it!

The toothbrush to me is not like most other rechargeable toothbrushes this one is so lightweight & normally I have found them quite heavy & bulky. The toothbrush is:

Fresh Gleaming Start

Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a lovely christmas & new year. I do not know where the time went. 

I had in between Christmas & New year off this year which is the first time in like 6 years I believe so it was lovely being able to take some time out. Not only that but during this time I became an auntie again to a beautiful little girl ; Isla Jessica. She is a doll! Along with that already 2018 is trying to test me but I am trying to carry on & remain positive & just hope things work out okay. 

Whatever's meant to be will find its way right?

Anyway on another note I have tried using before a charcoal polish to help whiten my teeth but run out of it & never replaced it. So recently I have been trying another brand's version.

Charcoal Beauty Buys

I hope you are all well & having a fab week! Half way through the week now. All a down hill slide now till friday yayyyy! 

I am definitely am doing better this week at writing posts that's for sure! I feel like I have so much stuff to catch up & where I also work full time it can be a struggle fitting everything in but it is SO worth it because I literally LOVE blogging.

Quite a lot of beauty products recently I have noticed seem to contain charcoal.Activated charcoal is administered in hospitals as an emergency treatment for poisoning. This is due to chemicals bind to it, so it can help remove them from the body. People are also using food grade activated charcoal internally to detox, whether it be in supplements or juices. It is even being used to whiten teeth. Which is what I want to share with you...

I love nothing better than having white teeth. I have always said one of the first things you notice about someone is their smile & it is true. So I have tried a number of teeth whitening toothpastes, gels, you name it. I've even tried laser whitening which I have to say really didn't make much difference to the shade of my teeth. I come across a product called Activated charcoal teeth whitening powder by a company called Procoal London. The product is 100% Natural! It contains no synthetic additives, preservatives, foaming agents, fluoride, artificial colours or flavours. It is literally what it says pure charcoal powder.  It helps to removes stains and discolouration from the surface of your teeth to significantly whiten and brighten your smile. 

When I opened the pot I did worry in thinking it was going to stain my teeth when brushing with it. But you simply place a pinch of the charcoal powder in your palm & wet your tooth brush. Then dip your tooth brush in the powder & brush your teeth as you would normally. Brush for about 1-2 minutes. Yes your teeth will go all black & you may look abit scary but do not panic it does wash off! Once you have finished brushing, simply rinse your mouth to ensure the powder has all gone. It really does not taste of anything. You get the best results it advises if you use it twice a day. I have used it for a day now & my teeth are not very dull anyway they are pretty white but after using the powder it does make them look clean, fresh & 
sparkly. So I am interested to see what will happen to my teeth after using the powder for a bit longer.

Another of my favourite charcoal based products at the moment are the oil balancing & charcoal range from Sukin. 
My skin is pretty much a combination skin but I do get oily patches on my face, mostly around my t-zone areas. So using skin care products which helps with that for me is important. So I do tend to stick to ones which are not oily. So for me this range is perfect!

Sukin is an Australian based company. Their products are ALL 100% carbon neutral cruelty free & also vegan. They also use natural ingredients to give the best to your skin.

My top 3 beauty products!

So once again I have been extremely pants at writing posts. I think to myself oh I will put time aside to do that to night but when it comes round to it I don't get to do it. I could kick myself at times, really I could. Anyway let's not go on about that. 

For anyone that knows me knows that I love my beauty products & make up! Like big time! As a qualified beautician I like to find amazing products to use for my own personal use as well as products to recommend to others. After all sharing is caring right? 

Recently I have found a brand of beauty products that I have come to love! Nu skin, They provide a wide range of like over 250+ products which they are adding new products too all the time! So they are constantly expanding in their product range. Which I always love a company that constantly researches & brings out new products for its customers to use & enjoy. 

I have not the worst skin but my facial skin is the combination type. When I was younger I used to get bad break outs & time to time I do still suffer from them & to me that can get me down & makes me feel anxious. So finding a skin care range which actually makes a difference to my skin is abit of a tricky one. BUT sure enough I think I have now found a company where the products do what they say on the tin. So when I find something that works I like to share & let everyone know of my great find! 

1). Marine Mud Mask 

This product is what it says a mud mask. The mask contains sea botanicals which draws out dirt and impurities from the skin. It contains extremely fine mud particles which helps the skin feel smooth, refreshed & clean. When you apply the mask you can actually see it drawing the dirt & impurities out of your skin & it shows up your pores! The best thing is the mask is so versatile! You can use it not only for your face but you can always use it for: 
*Ingrown hairs 
*Cold sores 
*Verrucas 
*Bites
*Stretch marks

It is THE perfect all rounder to have in the house.
After one use I had noticed a change in my skin. It was not only a lot softer but it also had help clear some of pores in which your everyday make up can cause. I now use the mask 2 times a week or just apply to to a spot if it ramdomly appears & it helps dry it up amazingly! 

2). Whitening Fluoride toothpaste 

The first thing you notice about someone to me is their smile to good, clean, healthy teeth are key to a good smile. No one likes stained teeth. That has to be one of my dislikes. I do like someone to have good teeth. So to me having nice white looking teeth is so important. I have used & tried out so so many different toothpastes, tooth whitening strips, mouth washes & even had laser teeth whitening but to me that was a disappointment because I noticed no change to my teeth. I don't have the worst coloured teeth I will say but I do like to find something to get them naturally as white as possible! I use this toothpaste twice a day as you would a regular toothpaste. It contains no harmful ingredients & has made my teeth whiter & feel so much fresher! Which is so nice to have! After just 3 weeks of using this toothpaste I have noticed my teeth looking whiter, cleaner & feeling fresher! I have also had people compliment me on my teeth & ask what I use. To me that shows a good product!

3). Nu colour contour lip gloss 

I will be honest I would love to have lip fillers done but I'm too scared of them going wrong & ending up with the worst shaped lips! I have quite a bigger bottom lip to my top & to me I can notice that they are out of proportion. So I have always wanted them in order to even them out. When I found this contour lip gloss I was very happy!  It's a clear gloss which can be worn on its own or over the top of your favourite lipstick. I apply it before bed too to leave it on all night & when I wake up the lip gloss is still there! 

The lip gloss naturally defines & contours the lips focusing on the "cupids bow" which tends to fade with age. It helps achieve fuller lips in 28 days. First of all I was not convinced that it would make much of a difference but after a month of using it I now use it all the time & have noticed a change to the size of my lips. They appear more fuller & my Cupid's bow is more defined & I love it. That's all thanks to the use of NO needles!
