Caudalie Mixology

Previously I have tried Caudalie & I have to say I was pretty impressed with their skincare products.

So when I received an email from Love Me Beauty to say I have been chosen to receive one of the Caudalie Paris mixology boxes I was pretty happy! The idea of the box is for you to mix up how you use your cleanser & use them in a different way so the routine doesn't become boring to your skin.

*Apply in the evening, alone or before you moisturise.

Luxury Grace Cole England

I hope you are all well & life is treating you well?
I am getting pretty good at this whole blogging thing I have to say I am pretty impressed with myself the number of posts I've done so far this year. I did say I was going to throw myself into it more to try & keep myself busy & stop my mind from thinking about things it shouldn't. So aren't you lucky :)

As I am a bit of a big Instagram fan I am forever looking on there not just at people's pages but also brands pages. I just think it's such a great platform. Recently while looking about on there I come across a beauty brand I had not heard of before Grace Cole England. 

Grace Cole was created in 2007 & offer a collection of luxury bath, body & also home products. The products are all packed with amazing fragrances so help you relax & smell fantastic! Not only that but for me packaging of a product is a big sell I think especially when buying beauty products so Grace Cole packaging just drew me in. The packaging is just beautiful on its own. The bottles remind me a bit of Baylis & Harding style bottles but with their own stamp on them which I think makes them even better! 

As the same also suggests Grace Cole is a UK made brand which also is against animal testing & all products are 100% paraben free.

So when trying to decide on what fragrance products to get you literally are spoilt for choice. Which makes it hard to chose. Currently due to the time of year it is they also have Valentine's fragrances such as Vanilla Blush & Peony, Warm Vanilla & Sandalwood & other gorgeous scents.

So I got to try:

Radiance Body Scrub - Vanilla Blush & Peony

Body scrubs are great to use I find once a week to polish your skin. They are perfect to use when perhaps removing fake tan, or before you apply it to smooth your skin & remove any dead skin cells to begin with. The scrub contains gentle beads which help to reveal glowing skin, leaving it soft & smelling lovely. Not only that but the beads in Grace Cole scrubs are biodegradable eco beads. The Vanilla Blush & Peony is a gorgeous scent! It's a light but floral smell with a slight musk hint to it. After using the scrub once my skin felt so soft & it felt nice & light on the skin. 

To use:
*Lather with warm water
*Gently massage the scrub onto the skin in circular motions
*Rinse well after

Relaxing Bath Soak - Vanilla Blush & Peony

I am a huge lover of a bath. It just relaxes me & helps to de-stress me. Plus it gives you time out to yourself to just chill & pamper. I think everyone needs that. So a great bubble bath is a must. I love the type of bubble bath which leaves you with lots of bubbles & is a creamy texture. So again like the body scrub I picked the Vanilla Blush & Peony which is a gorgeous scent. All you do is simply pour a generous amount into the bath & just lay back & unwind. The bottle comes with a cute pink tassel to match the packaging too. Which I love the extra bit of detail.

Refreshing Body Mist - Vanilla Blush & Peony

I love to use body mists sometimes instead of a perfume because they are so light on your skin & just like perfumes they leave your skin smelling lovely & fresh. The body mists from Grace Cole are so refreshing I have found which I love. Again like the bubble bath bottle it comes in a glassy look bottle with the little tassel to add extra detail to the bottle. Which makes it look even more luxurious. The bottles come in two sizes so you can get a smaller bottle to carry around in your bag or a larger bottle for home or to carry if you wish. So you can apply the refreshing mist when you like to ensure you are left smelling gorgeous. It is a delicate scent which lasts for a while.

I literally am super impressed with this brand because not only to the products smell lovely, but the packaging looks luxury high end but the prices are so affordable & amazing quality. Which is what you want right? Amazing quality beauty products which aren't going to break the bank.

Masque Bar Beauty Masks

I hope you are okay & your week has treated you well?

I have tried Masque Bar face masks before at around Christmas time. I tried a hot cocoa cream mask & the pretty animalz face sheet mask which at christmas time they did as reindeers, polar bears & such animals. So when I tried them then I was impressed so I decided to give a few more products a try from them.

Masque Bar was developed in Korea, they created sheet masques which with serums & ingredients that make your skin soaked with goodness which the sheet is pre cut to contour your face. The sheet is designed with cut out holes to protect your eyes, lips, nostrils. These are a perfect for a quick facial in your own home & a quick skincare fix. They are super easy to use & can leave your skin feeling amazing. I have become such a huge fan of them!

This time I got:

Collagen Peel Modelling Mask

Collagen helps to keep your skin plumped & keeps the elasticity of it. It helps to purify your skin by gently lifting away the impurities & dead skin cells. It also helps to supply nourishment to the skin to give it an instant brightening effect. So collagen is such an important ingredient to have in your skincare ingredients.

This mask comes in a pot where you add water, stir & then apply it, then later peel it off.

So it is so quick & easy to use!

Brightening Sheet Mask

These help to minimise the appearance of dark spots & any pigmentation blemishes & give you a more even complexion. 

The sheet masks ingredients contain Orange extract, Liquorice Root extract & Vitamin C.  

The pack contains 3 masks so it is great for several uses to keep your skin in top condition.

To use them all you do it:

*Remove any make up & cleanse your face

*Open the packet & take out the mask

Skin Truth Skin Care

I hope you have all had a good week & weekend. 
Time seems to be going so quickly! But good news is I am off work for the week yay.

Recently I've started using a new brand of skincare goodies "Skin Truth". I had previously heard of them through being a beautician as I have used some of their products while training & things. But I had never tried the skin care products on myself. I had looked at them when going to Pro Beauty at the Excel but never actually brought the skin care range.

So I thought I would bite the bullet & try some out for myself. As it's always good finding new products which work well on your skin.

Skin Truth is a professional beauty range which includes advanced ingredients while giving a enhanced salon experience. All their products are also Paraben, Sulphate & Mineral oil free. They literally also have a range to suit everyone for everything from skin care, to manicure products to aromatherapy goods. You can purchase them from Salons who stock them, from beauty shows, to beauty trade shops or even online to try them for yourself. But I am literally so impressed with the range of products they have to offer.

My skin type is pretty much combination. Simply because I can have oily areas to my face & in places it can become dry also.
So from the skincare range the best is the "Equalising". This range helps to balance your moisture levels while using natural ingredients. It helps to even your skin tone & equalise your oils in your skin to give you a healthy complexion. Which we all love. 
They contain Orange Blossom which helps to heal delicate skin, Ginger extract to help balance the skin's oil production. 

So from the Equalising range I got 3 products to try:

Toner - This helps to clarify & refresh your skin. It is perfect for using daily on your face to help remove any oil, traces of make up.It is a soft & light product which should really be included in your daily skin care routine. Especially when it is so easy to use. You just apply it to a damp cotton wool pad & apply it to your face & neck making sure you avoid the eye & lip area. 

Mud Mask - I absolutely love a face mask. There is nothing better than sitting with a face mask on your face & washing it off & your skin feeling super smooth, soft & glowing after it. I think they are such an important product for a skincare routine. This mask is enriched with dead sea mud which helps to purify your complexion by removing any impurities & excess oil. You apply it to clean skin & coat your face & neck with the mask. Then leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with water & dry your face.

Velvet Soft Facial Serum - I will admit I don't always use a serum or a facial oil on my face everyday. It's just not something I have used daily of my face until recently because I do have oily areas to my face I have to be careful what kind of serum or facial oil I use as they can make my skin more oily. This serum helps to restore natural radiance to your skin. This serum is suitable for all skin types, it is enriched with Acerola & rose extracts which help to replenish & moisturise the skin. 

The quality of these products are amazing & they are literally value for money. You do get salon quality for such a good price. I cannot wait to try more of their products! One of my favourite products from my skincare range is a hot cloth cleanser. It literally is my go to product. I currently use No 7 & swear by it but I might have to try the Skin Truth one & see what it is like.

All Squeaky Clean

This week has been a funny old week I think. It's one of those weeks where I cannot work out whether it's gone quick or not. It's not been an awful week I guess.

For a while I kept hearing of people talking about a pore suction cleanser & I really didn't know what to make of it even though I had heard really good results about them. I just thought surely it couldn't clear your pores out that much. But I decided to bite the bullet & get one to try it out for myself. Because I have been wanting to try one & let's face it we could all do with clearing ours pores out not only does it get built up with foundation, make up & oil & dirt. So it needs a little bit of TLC sometimes because no matter how many face creams & products you use it doesn't clear your pores out completely.

So to try I got the Sensse deep pore suction cleanser from Amazon UK. 

Sensse believe that beauty is more than skin deep & our skin should show off our inner beauty not our age. Sensee have created smart beauty products which are great for daily use on your skin to help it be the best it can be! So depending on what results you want to achieve or what you are looking for they do a smart beauty gadget for you. They do the Deep pore suction cleanser that I purchased & also other tools like the Anti-Ageing Cleansing brush, Silicone facial cleansing brush, facial contour definer, hot & cool fair bar & many others! So there really is a product for everyone!

The deep pore suction cleanser instantly lifts any dirt & any blackheads out of the skin. It is a gentle yet powerful cleanser which removes dead skin cells & cleanses your pores. Not only that but it comes with a water tank so you can mist water on your face to deep cleanse & unclog any stubborn pores.

The cleanser is so simple to use too which makes it even better!
I would ensure the device has had up to 6 hours charge before you use it. Just insert the USB cable into a port & stand the base of the device on the charging unit. The unit then beeps the lights light up when charging. Then all 3 lights light up when fully charged 

Then you simply:


*Make sure your skin is make up free

*Pull out the rubber plug of the water tank & add water

*Make sure you firmly push the plug back in once water is in

*Attach the correct suction attachment that you wish:
 - Small Suction Head: For Sensitive skin & delicate areas
 - Big Suction Head: For stronger suction on larger areas
 - Black head attachment: To remove blackheads or white heads

*Hold the power button down & the device will turn on

*The mist nozzle will spray a fine mist of water to help remove the dirt making it more effective

*Hold down the power button to adjust the desired intensity level

*There 3 intensity levels:
 - Low: This is the speed it give you when the device first turns 
        on. 
 - Medium
 - High

*After use rinse your face & the cleanser & any attachments

They recommend you to use this in with your skin routine 2-3 times a week to help keep it clear.

I have used this for about a week now & even on the first use I noticed the stuff it was pulling out of my skin & I use a lot of skin products everyday so it shows that they don't necessarily pull out the dirt in your pores. But this was so impressive! The dirt & things it pulls out of your pores shows up in the attachment & you will be surprised! Not only that but it left my skin feeling super smooth & it looks the cleanest it has ever looked. I literally cannot express enough how handy & how much of a great idea this is. I would recommend it to anyone who like me has thought about trying one of these, or wants to unclog their pores, or just wants to help to have clearer skin.
