Total Lip Envy

I hope your week is going well & it isn't going too badly for you.
I have gone back to work this week after my operation & I have to say I am shattered. It really has taken it out of me that's for sure. But I shall get there.

With the warm weather & in general I do seem to suffer with dry or chapped lips. In the winter they do tend to become a lot drier however recently I have started using a different high street brand Carmex.Who have recently brought out a summertime lip balm - lime twist.

Carmex have been providing relief to dry lips since 1937 & can be found in so many shops on the high street. They have provided us with so many different types of lip balms over the years, but this one I have to say simply because it gives a summer vibe. So this is perfect to carry around in perhaps your beach bag on the go or even your handbag whether it be for summer days or winter. There is always a use for a lip balm in your bag I have found because you can always reapply then. Carmex helps to keep your lips hydrated & keep them fully protected to leave you with smooth lips. The latest edition to Carmex - Lime Twist also comes with SPF15 So it definitely means it is great to apply after swimming, being exposed to sunlight or wind etc. Carmex definitely has to be one of the best lip balms I have used because of the moisture it brings to your lips & also the fact it is amazing value for money!

Also previously in one of my posts I mentioned about a make up brand Pur when I tried one of their compact eyeshadow palettes. Well they




have recently brought out Velvet matte liquid lipsticks & On point lip liners which come in the most gorgeous shades!

Pur-fect Make Up On The Go

Happy Sunday! 
The weekend has nearly been & gone already. I will admit this weekend I haven't really done anything I've just tried to catch up on sleep after my eventful week & try to take it a bit easy.
Nothing wrong with that though hey?

Us girls all love our make up right? 
We all carry around a make up bag in our handbags while we are out to touch up our make up whether it be throughout the day or on a night out & even if you don't carry a full on make up bag around with you, you do carry some form of make up products around with you to top up your look. Am I right?

I have come across a very handy vanity palette that is perfect for anyone with a busy lifestyle or just likes an easy life & wants to save on carrying around too many make up products with them!

Pur Cosmetics are a brand who are 100% cruelty free, not only that but they also offer some vegan & gluten free make up products which I think is important for a brand to be able to cater for different audiences. As everyone is different & likes different things when it comes to both brands they go for & also the products they use. Pur cosmetics offer both make up & skin care product's. Pur cosmetics are mineral based, their products are formulated with ingredients which are both good for your skin & also help to cover up your skin's imperfections & help correct the appearance. 

Pur Cosmetics have come up with the idea of a vanity palette which not only has eyeshadows but also has a blusher, bronzer & highlighter! So you do not need to carry around several individual products you just need to carry around the one vanity palette & I think this is one hell of an amazing thing! All of the powders in the palette contain a combination of Green Tea, Ginseng & Vitamin B which help to stimulate the skin's metabolic renewal process. So they contain no harmful ingredients in them.

Not only that but the top part of the vanity palette pops out into a retractable standing mirror which makes it handy to create the perfect make up looks on the go!


The palette's come in two different styles:

Goal Digger - Which contain the 4 shades of eyeshadow's called:
Aim high, 24/7, Grind & No Limit. These are more of the shades which you can create a smoky eye effect with so they are perfect for a night out. As they are darker colours. The highlighter is glow getter & like its name you definitely glow with this highlighter! It is so pigmented & shimmery I love it! & for me a good highlighter is important because it is something I like to top up during the day/night because I use a highlighter to define my cupids bow & also my inner corners of my eyes to help brighter them. The blusher is called Glambition which is a light pinky/mauve kind of colour but it is gorgeous! Then the bronzer you get in this palette is called Motivation.

Dream Chaser - Which contains the 4 shades of eyeshadow's called: Aspire, Utopia, Good Intentions, Fantasy. These are can be used as both a day time look or an evening look. They are more earthy tones. Whereas the Goal digger palette has like greys & dark blues. The highlighter is Illusion which is more of a peachy shimmery subtle kind of highlighter & perfect for a day time look. The blusher is called Visionary which like the highlighter has a peach kind of tone to it. But it is not at all over- powering. Then the bronzer is called Driven which is a very faint bronzer compared to the Goal digger palette I found. 

I just think these are so so useful for people who are on the go & like to have make up in their bags to top up their look. They are just perfect to have it one place! Not only that but all the colours of both the eyeshadows & highlighters are so pigmented & gorgeous, the blushers are not over powering & the bronzers are always handy to have to top up especially in the summer when you have a good tan!
