Little Handmade Treasure

20:17pm
Good Evening everyone!
We are half way through the week now! Yay!
I cannot believe it's going to be Christmas next weekend! It really doesn't seem possible at all. Where has the time gone? The whole Christmas thing & this of year just shattters me. This week I have felt so tired even more than normal. I just want more sleep & getting out of bed in the morning is causing a struggle. Or is it just me who feels like that? I don't actually yet feel Christmassy at all or in a festive mood. It's true what they say it's never the same when you get older thats for sure.

I'm not a huge jewellery wearer.
I wear a few pieces like a watch, stud earrings & a bracelet & necklace every now & then. But I'm not one to wear lots of pieces at the same time. I'm also not a fan of big chunky pieces. I think it's because I am pretty petite, I have the skinniest wrists so I struggle to find bracelets & watches that do actually fit me well. Watches especially! If they have links in them I have to have half of the links removed in order for it to fit my wrist. Which can be frustrating as you can imagine.

Recently I have been loving the knotted theme jewellery. Since I saw a very cute one on Sam Faiers teamed up with her Abbott Lyon watch. It looked so so lovely!
Smaller more delicate pieces of jewellery are always hard to find I believe, so when I find somewhere that does such pieces I tend to go back & purchase from them. Not only that but I love buying from places where the item is hand made because no two pieces are the same which to me makes them unique. Also it means it isn't something that everyone has. It is also lovely knowing you have supported someone with their own small business & dream rather than just someone that mass produces something. It's something I think more people should support!

I come across Handmade Simplicity on Instagram & was immediately drawn to some of their pieces. They are danity, pretty, unique & also handmade & designed which adds such a lovely touch to it.
Lindsay the owner of Handmade simplicity has been in the jewellery industry for nine years & its only been since having her son that she started designing & making her own jewellery line.

The bangle is made of sterling silver & has a knot effect at the top of the bracelet. It is so simple but I think teamed with the right Watch it could look so lovely on the wrist! It's beautiful. I absolutely love it.

Not only that but Handmade simplicity sell a range of products from rings, necklaces, bracelets, bangles. All so unique & as beautiful as each other! They truly would make the best present for Christmas for someone or a birthday present, Mother's Day present or even a little treat for yourself & even better you don't have to worry about everyone having the same as you.

On their website they even give you a ring size guide so if you are unsure of your ring size you can use the page to help you.

Plus if you use the code: lottiejessica10 you will receive a 10% discount!

A little personal touch

12:54pm
Happy Saturday everyone!
Hope you all have a good week, I had a week off work & I have been sick for the whole week of it & still do not feel 100% I cannot seem to shift it at all. I'm hoping it will soon pass because I feel so awful. I hate being poorly!

As you all know from my previous posts I am a total sucker for personalised goods! I got my gorgeous keyring from DS London & a personalised phone case too. I think I just love anything that I can put my name on to be honest. Surely I cannot be the only person who loves abit of personalised things?

I haven't really owned anything personalised jewellery wise. I have had the odd beaded bracelet but that is about it. So for a while now I have been toying with the idea of getting a necklace or bracelet personalised of course! But I kept deciding otherwise until I came across a shop on depop. For those of you or don't know what depop is it's an app where you can join & sell clothes, etc & purchase things...

I came across Di's Gems & loved the personalised items available! I am not a fan of big chunky jewellery because I have the most skinny little wrists & big necklaces tend to not really suit me. So I do tend to shy away from them but these were small & dainty! Just perfect for me!
She did a number of personalised items necklaces & bracelets. They are come in more than one style & both in silver or gold but I'm more of a silver jewellery kind of girl. Apart from costume jewellery I guess you could say. So the fact there was different styles & things were perfect! As it gives people a choice. Where as some places I have seen that have done them have just been one style.

When contacting to order I found it most friendly & welcoming & so helpful! As I have also previously said I love a place with good customer service as it's so important.

I think these items are just perfect for Christmas gift ideas what with that time of year nearly upon us!
Which I find just crazy! For anyone who loves personalised items or you are looking for something else different I definitely recommend checking out Di's Gems. She will be having a website go live soon but in the mean time you can purchase in other ways! Facebook, twitter or Instagram.
I will list the contact details below for them.

I simply love them! The bangle especially teamed up with a nice watch! Perfect arm candy!

Just Keep Stacking!

20:14pm

Yay so finally the working week is over & it's time for the weekend! Time to have some fun & also catch up with some bits for my blog. Weekends are perfect for that! During the week I'm so tired by the time I get home from work so for me weekends work well for me to sit & do it.

I absolutely love quirky little jewellery pieces. I love going into those little shops that do the most unique pieces that you don't just pick from on your high street. I love having something that's different that not just everyone can pick up from primark or new look. You could say I do like to different. Whenever I'm in a shop my eye is always drawn to silver things. Jewellery wise I mean. Like simple silver necklaces, rings, or bracelets mostly. I'm not really the type of person to wear a lot of jewellery. I will wear a watch without fail I could not live without a watch! There was a time I never owned one but now I have 4 & could not go a day without wearing it my arm feels bare without it. Simple stud earrings & then a bracelet for two. That is it. I rarely wear necklaces unless it's something small & simple especially for everyday. I just don't like wearing too much. Or is that just me being fussy?

I have to admit I love bracelets which you get as a set or you can build up. Basically stacking bracelets. I love the small simple brackets which look lovely as a set next to a nice watch! To me that helps make an outfit & to set it off without your arms looking too full but not bare. There are so many places you can get these kind of bracelets from but recently on Instagram I have found a lovely company that do what I love!

Boho Betty is a brand which sell unique jewellery pieces. Especially the bracelets! I could spend a fortune on them! I first noticed them on Instagram & had a look through their pictures & fell in love with the pieces I saw. They were definitely the kind of thing I love. So I logged on to the website for a closer look at all the other items they did. There were so so many to choose from.
But I fell in love with 3 pieces especially. Which go perfectly together & yes of course are all silver.
When I saw they had arrived in the post I was like a kid at Christmas! I love receiving parcels.

The three bracelets are all different designs. One is a silver bead thin bracelet with a small black coloured bead in the centre. The second is a silver leather kind of effect bracelet with silver bead details in small lines, also with little tassels on the end. The third is a solid silver bar with a silver hook that does up. All of the bracelets have a small tag on them with the logo BB for Boho Betty. They look super cute teamed up with a nice watch. I absolutely love them! The prices are so good & so is the quality. The customer service I received from the company was amazing! I love good customer service & feeling confident with a company. They are definitely worth checking out!
