Not more make up...

18:05pm

Okay so I've had these bits a little while now & I keep meaning to post about them but have I erm no!
My mind gets sidetracked else where what with everything going on at the moment & I just forget.
So here I am now. Better late then never though right?

When I went to Oxford I went to my favourite place there Bicester shopping village. For those of you haven't been you need to go! You are missing out! If like me you love your designer labels & shopping this place is so for you!

One of my favourite shops is the cosmetics company store.
If like me you love make up, or any cosmetics for that matter this shop is totally a must for you! They sell all designer named cosmetics at cheaper prices!

So for me when I go in here I go for a make up haul! & yes this time I did! I think I have an obsession with buying new lipsticks I have so so many but yet I always still need more. Is anyone else like that or is that just me?

This time I found a colour which caught my eye & a brand I have heard good things about but never tried before. Bobbi Brown.
The shade I got was:

Pink gold shimmer (7) - Like it says in the name it's a pinky gold shimmery colour. Perfect for with a tan & for a natural everyday make up look. This has now become one of my new favourites. It's so subtle yet lovely colour. The texture is not to heavy either on your lips it's so nice & light & soft.

Then the other items I got were all Mac of course!
I picked up:

Highlights (lipstick) - This like the Bobbi brown lipstick is a shimmery colour but this one not so much with a pink shimmer to it it's more or just a golden glow which is another perfect shade for everyday wear & also with a tan during the summer. I think both the shades of lipstick that I picked are perfect summery colours which is why I wanted them as most of the shades I have are more darker colours which to me are Autumn/winter shades.

Feel the fever (Eyeshadow) - This is a colour I don't think I would of normally picked out but my mum found this colour for me & I have to say I love it! It has a purply tone to it but yet it's pigmented & glittery. So you can build the colour up so its more darker purple or you can have it less & have it glittery. So for a night out its a perfect colour!

Bouffant veluxe pearl (Eyeshadow) - This is a lovely everyday subtle colour. It's a pink frosty colour which is perfect for any time of the day. You can use it to highlight or for all over the eyelid. Either way I love this colour the most I have to say!

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend!

Treats,Treats, Oh & More Treats!

Hello everyone!
Happy Mothering Sunday to all you yummy mummy's out there! I hope you have all had a lovely day. I know I have with my family. I don't know what it is about days like today but it makes me so full of love! I cannot contain it aha. I am very blessed to have my family that much I do know. I cannot wait for one day when I get to celebrate Mother's Day with a family of my own but I am a long shot away from all that yet. But hopefully it will happen. Anyway let's not have a downer...

I decided yesterday that it had been way too long since I had been shopping for myself so I took myself & one of my best friends shopping. I wanted to haul through primark really I will admit but I came out of there so VERY disappointed! I was expecting to find so much & be able to show it off to you all but I'm sorry that has just not happened. Much to my disappoint. I think it's because it is very much between seasons. They have all the summery stuff out & let's face it I refuse to be buying dresses, summer tops & bikini's when it is still so cold! I cannot bring myself to do it just yet. So my thought of coming out with a big bag just didn't happen. All I purchased was a cute pair of tie up flat shoes in a rust colour & some fluffy bed socks because let's face it we all love a comfy warm pair of socks to lounge about in our pyjamas with. Right?

The shoes are so lovely! I fell in love with then instantly. I'm not one for heels I will admit. So I tend to stick to flats all the time. They are more comfy & much better to drive in. Well they are all I can drive in to be honest. I have seen cute tie up ones before & was in two mind whether on not to purchase them but when I saw these I had to. I love the anything in the rust kind of colour. They go with so many things & they aren't just the usual black. Although they did have them also in black & white & black snakeskin which I do wish I had purchased as well now but never mind I have so many shoes. Maybe next time? These shoes were a bargain at just £8!! Yes that's right £8!

My other cheeky purchases were of course make up!
I love love going out & buying new pieces. But yes these new beauty's of mine are Mac cosmetics to add to my ever growing collection! I cannot resist it. But after all what woman can't?

I have had my eye on this blush for some time. Well it's more a highlight. I saw it used by several make up artists on Instagram & thought it was amazing! So I bit the bullet & brought it. It's called "soft & gentle".
The colour gives such a soft glow to the skin. Definitely gives me life! It's just amazing! & the pictures does not do it justice. It's hard to get a picture which shows it.

The eyeshadow I got is called sea worship. It's a lovely brown shimmery colour. Which I adore because they are such a nice natural colour. Nothing too harsh. Yet you can build on the colour of you wish. That's one thing Mac eyeshadows are great for.

I nearly purchased another lipstick but I held back & was good. Maybe next time I shall aha. After all I really have no self control. Especially when make up is involved.

Anyway, have a lovely Sunday evening whatever you are up to.

All about make up!

Hello everyone !
Like nearly every girl I love make up! I could not be without it or go out the house without it on because let's face it without it I actually feel naked! & I'm sure I'm not the only person who thinks that, or am I?
I love Mac cosmetics they are one of my most favourite brands going but there is a brand I would love to share with you all that I have come to have an obsession with! Which is not only amazing quality, has a vast variety but also so affordable! Which yes makes it even better doesn't it?!
This brand is Make Up Revolution!

I have been using this brand for a while but recently seem to love it even more when I see the new items they keep bringing out! I first came across make up revolution when looking through Instagram. I came across a make up artists page &saw them using some of the products & immediately had to look them up on Instagram & online to find out more! Ever since then it's been lethal you could say aha. But cheaper than Mac though so that's how I justify it with myself. After all we all love a saving :)

I started off with an eyeshadow pallet & adored the colours! There are just so many to choose from & the colours are so pigmented in the palette I got! I was so impressed! That was just the start! Now 3 eyeshadow pallets later, several lipsticks, eyeliners & whatever else later I have now placed another order with them online which I have received & wanted to share with you so you can see just how amazing they are!

I am one for contouring like nearly every person out there at the moment so my first item I just HAD to purchase was the one blush sticks - one for contouring the other for highlight. I have tried using them & have to say they blend so lovely! The shimmer to the highlight is amazing I just love the colouring & texture to it as they are not at all heavy unlike some products I have seen. The contour isn't too dark & for me it suits my skin tone well as I am not really overly pale.

The lipsticks I have tried before & wanted to stock up on a few of my favourite shades! People have recently seen me wearing one of the shades & several have commented asking me what shade of Mac lipstick I am wearing, to find out that it's not actually Mac they are pleasantly surprised! My favourite shades are blindfolded, throne & legend. I love the dark & purply colours lately. So if you like those sorts shades you should definitely check them out!

This is me with the shade blindfolded on. It's such a lovely dark shade! Perfect for the dull Autumn/winter season!

From left to right: Blindfolded, throne & legend.
I really cannot get enough of the colours!

The next item I wanted to try was the brushes. I wanted something to use to help blend while contouring & also for eyeshadows. So I purchased the pro eyeshadow blending brush pro E103, the pro curve blusher & highlighting brush & also the pro eyebrow brush pro E104. This was so I could use it along with my Anastasia Beverley Hills dipbrow which is one item I cannot live without! The brushes on arrival I was surprised with just how good they were. I had ordered brushes off eBay previously. Especially for eyebrows but found after a little while they went funny & just didn't last. But I have been using the eyebrow brush for over a month now & it's still going strong & is the perfect shape & bristles for getting a great shape. I have definitely found a new favourite brush that's for sure so I will be sticking with it!

Another item is the focus & fix eye primer, for anyone who applies eyeshadow without using a
primer you do not know what you are missing out on! Get yourself a primer! I can always notice the
difference now with my eyes when I do & do not wear a primer. Eyeshadows stand out so much
better when wearing one. This primer is perfect & makes eyeshadows seem brighter & more intense. So definitely get yourself a primer if you don't use one you will thank me later :)

The last two items are pure pigments. I have a couple of pots of the Mac pigments & I love them. So I wanted to try these when I saw them especially as they were in the sale at the time for only £0.50! So you could not go wrong & I'm glad I got them. The colours are what they say they are on the pot pigments! The colours are gorgeous! I picked up a pinky & a browny colour which are most definitely the shades I go for.

First: Angelic & then indirect

I have to say indirect is my favourite shade! Such a lovely pigmented colour which is natural & not overpowering!

I cannot  wait to try more of the items make up revolution bring out & that I get my hands on but I definitely will be trying them! & I shall share them with you too :)

If  want the website it is: www.makeuprevolutionstore.com

Hope your all having a good week so far.

Take care
