Australian Bodycare

Hello Everyone,

So recently I have been trying a new skincare range from Australian bodycare

Australian Bodycare is a brand leader in tea tree oil products since it started in 1992. It firstly began introduced in salons & the spa market & has since developed into also home use. Their body care products not only help heal but they help to maintain clean & healthy skin & hair.

These are the first products I have tried from the brand.
The two products I got are two different skin washes.

The first products I got are:

Lemon Myrtle, Mandarin & Thyme - Skin Wash
This body wash is packed with Tea tree oil & the added zesty scent of Mandarin Peel oil, Orange Peel Oil & Australian Lemon Myrtle. The zesty aroma adds to your daily showering! Plus the added Tea tree oil adds to giving you that all over freshness. It is skin friendly PH, suitable for all skin types.

Lavender Skin Wash
This Tea tree & Lavender combined skin wash helps to cleanse, refresh & soothe the skin. It has antiseptic properties of Tea tree oil which helps remove odour which can cause bacteria & calm minor skin irritations such as blemishes & breakouts. While Lavender gently cleanses & soothes while leaving a subtle aroma.

Both of the products smell amazing & left my skin feeling so soft & fresh after using them. They also don't leave your skin feeling dry which I like as some can leave a like drying effect.

So I would definitely love to try more of Australian Bodycare's products.

Feather & Down Sleep Time

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I hope you have all had a fab weekend.
It was my birthday yesterday another year already! Where does time go literally it flies by I swear. But I had a lovely birthday with family. What could be more better than that.

Previously I have posted about Feather & Down. As sometimes I do go through phases where I don't sleep 100%. I tried natural sleeping tablets & other things but nothing helped. So I decided to give Feather & Down a try.

Feather & Down sell a range of products such as bath, body & home fragrances which were created to help us to sleep. Their products are blended with lavender & chamomile as these have calming ingredients to help relax the mind & help the body to unwind. All to help give a restful night sleep. Not only that but they are made in England. Which as you know I love supporting British brands!

Before I tried the Melting shower cream, Soothing body oil, All purpose sleeping balm & Pillow spray.

So this time I got:

Sleep Butter
This is the perfect blend of essential oils blended along with rich butter which you leave to soak into your skin overnight. So you can awake with soft, nourished skin & a refreshed mind after a great sleep. The butter contains Chamomile which helps promote relaxation, calm your nerves, & relieve stress.

You just massage it gently into your skin until it is fully absorbed.

Sleep Salts
This is perfect for any bath love like me! Again packed with essential oils use the bath salts to fill up your bath before bedtime & help release a calming fragrance to help relieve stress & tension by relaxing your mind & body.

To use add a generous amount into a lovely warm bath & then lay & relax.

Bath Essence
Again this product is great if you love baths! You can sink into a bath filled with the relaxing smell of lavender, Chamomile & essential oils. So it can help prepare you for a great nights sleep. I have also learnt that if you raise the temperature a degree or two of the bath water it helps with the cooling process at bedtime so it is more likely to help you fall asleep quicker.

To use just pour into warm water & soak yourself in the bath.

All of these products & their others are packed with lavender because Lavender is meant to help increase the type of brain waves associated with relaxation.

Also all the products are beautifully packaged. I just love the packaging. The products are also amazing quality & smell gorgeous. For me Lavender has always been a calming scent for me & helped aid sleep.

Feather & Down also do home fragrances like candles & reed diffuserswhich are perfect for lighting in the bedroom or bathroom while you have a bath. To help release the gorgeous scent.

I have to say all in all the products are a great way to naturally help you to sleep better which I think is the best way.

So if like me you have issues with sleeping definitely try these products. They even sell gift sets which are packed with products! So you know someone who this could help it would be a perfect gift for them.

Sweet Dreams

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
I've had another one of chilling & trying to get myself back to normal. Plus the fact I go back to work tomorrow too :(
That's definitely going to be a shock to the system.

At times I will admit I can be a nightmare when it comes to sleeping as I can wake up a few times in the night for no reason. So then when it is time to wake up I feel like I've had a lack of sleep. Either that or if I have things on my mind I tend not to be able to shut off & things so I don't tend to sleep well. I went through that a lot when I went through severe depression. My sleeping pattern was awful back then. I have my moments still at sleeping but nothing as bad. But when I do have sleeping issues I like to try to find something natural to help me to sleep. I have tried several things like herbal sleeping tablets but none of them have ever really worked for me. We all need a good nights sleep in order to be able to focus & get through the next day.So it really is important. Sleep matters.

So recently I have tried something a little bit different, a brand called Feather & Down

So I have four products from their range to try for those phases where I am finding it difficult to sleep. I have:

Melting Shower Cream
This helps to cleanse your skin & melts into a calming oil when you gently massage it into your skin leaving it soft, nourished & the scent of the oil helps to aid you to sleep. You simply just use it as you would a normal shower cream. Having a shower or bath before bed time helps to prepare your body for sleep. The feeling of the water on your skin helps to relax your body & eases tension. So this
shower cream is perfect for help boost that more.

Soothing Body Oil
This soothes your skin, seals in moisture & helps calm you to prepare you for a restful nights sleep. You simply spray the oil onto your skin & smooth it in gently. Once it is fully absorbed then you get dressed again. Massaging your skin with body oils helps to reduce stress & anxiety by helping to decrease muscle tension which helps improve relaxation.

All Purpose Sleep Balm
This balm is a blend of vitamin E which helps to moisturise & relaxing essential oils which help to create a calm fragrance on your pulse points. Which helps to ease your mind & help you sleep easier. To use it massage the balm onto your pulse points before bed to relax you. Placing fragrances onto your pulse points for example wrists, temples & neck it makes it last longer due to the beat of your heart.

Pillow Spray
This one has to be my favourite because it is so simply & effect to use. This spray is packed with an infusion of lavender & chamomile to helps encourage calm, & relaxation. You simply spray a generous amount of spray onto your pillows to help you relax.

All of these products & their others are packed with lavender because Lavender is meant to help increase the type of brain waves associated with relaxation

Also all the products are beautifully packaged. I just love the packaging. The products are also amazing quality & smell gorgeous. For me Lavender has always been a calming scent for me & helped aid sleep.

Feather & Down also do home fragrances like candles & reed diffusers which are perfect for lighting in the bedroom or bathroom while you have a bath.

Bee Good Skin Care!

Hello Everyone!

I have let myself slack again lately & it's been a while since I have wrote a post. I have been feeling a bit under the weather the last few days again. But hopefully after a trip to the doctors & medication I will shortly be on the mend. Well that is the plan...

Everyone should have a good skin care routine. After all you only get one chance to look after your skin well. You have to help it & prevent it from ageing, help to keep it well supplied with moisture & help keep it clean & dirt free.

Recently I have started to find skin care ranges that are all natural as I believe they are more beneficial for your skin. I have had a thing for bee related products. As you may have noticed from one of my previous posts about Burt's bee's.

The new skincare products I have started to use is by Bee Good.
Bee good was started in 2008 by a husband & wife: Simon & Carline. Simon kept a number of beehives in their orchards surrounding their Hampshire home. But it was Caroline's interest in the excess honey and beeswax that she used to create natural skincare products which led to the first award-winning products; a lip balm and a hand cream; made in Caroline’s kitchen using centuries-old recipes & for products to be sold at their local Hampshire market. Word then spread about their products & sales grew! So in 2013 they recruited a small team of skincare experts to add to the team! They are now making a number of award winning products which are amazing! Especially as they are all british based & natural! They are made with the finest ingredients. They do not use mineral oil, silicone or parabens & none of their bee's are harmed.

I have found a big love lately for creamy cleansers which you use with muslin cloths. They have helped make my skin so radiant & clear up my skin so much! I do not know how I didn't know about such products before or even try them! The cleanser helps to get rid of make up & any grime without drying out your skin. You use the muslin cloth to help wipe away any remaining cleanser on your skin & it leaves it feeling so lovely & soft! You use the cleanser morning & night by massaging a small amount onto dry skin. Apply it to all over your face & neck, then wet the cloth in warm water & wipe away the cleanser.

I use the cleanser along side the honey & camelina facial exfoliator. It is packed with british wild flower honey, vitamin E, wheatgerm oil, & moisturising camelina. It helps to get rid of dead skin cells & leaves your skin looking radiant.

Finally I then use the honey & wild flax daily moisturiser. It's a gentle facial moisturiser which helps leave your skin feeling hydrated. The best thing is it is a light moisturiser but it absorbs into the skin quickly & helps to protect & hydrate your skin.

I have been using these products for about a week now & my skin feels so soft! Plus it looks so radiant. I normally have to be pretty fussy with what I use on my skin because I do suffer with problem skin at times. But using these natural products it helps give my skin the best ingredients that I can.

For anyone that loves the more natural & british skin care products definitely try Bee Good!

A Little Bit Lavish

15:30pm
Hello everyone!
It's actually a week day afternoon! I never normally get to blog during the day. Only at weekends when I am off of work but as I'm off work this week I've actually got some time to sit & blog during the day instead of an evening! It's great! But I love being able to have time to myself & write a few posts.

I am a lover of subscription boxes. When it comes to make up & beauty products I think it is a great way of trying smaller sizes of items that you haven't tried before & also a great way of coming across new brands which perhaps before you would not of heard of. So it's a great way for new brands or smaller brands to get their products out there & get people to try them & I think that is great.

I have come across a subscription box called A little bit lavish who are a fairly recent company who have set up a subscription box service perfect for women who need abit of pampering & time to themselves. Whether that be a bath or shower to relax, or a face mask, or even some smaller type of relaxation. The boxes are different each month & have a different theme to them. Most of the products are even full size items! Which in most of these kinds of boxes you do not get. You simply get sample size products. Well that is what I have always found.

A little bit lavish is a monthly subscription box of between 5-7 products. All carefully picked for likes of us! All the items in the box are a surprise so you never know what is going to be in the box till you open it up. You will receive beauty, skincare and the odd makeup item.  1 of the items will be a lifestyle item and 1 will be edible or drinkable. The brands they also chose to use are a mixture of bigger named companies & small companies. The majority of the products are also organic or natural and all will be cruelty free. Which i think is great!

So how much do they cost you ask?
You have four options to choose from:
* A monthly subscription for £20 per month.
* A 3-month subscription for £19 per month
* A 6 month subscription for £18.50 per month
*  A 1-year subscription for £18.00 per month

Shipping to the UK is free delivery. Shipping to Europe is £6 and shipping to the rest of the world is £10.

I received my box this month & I love it!
This month my box come with:

*Megan Louise ceramic - Hand made tiny dish. Which is perfect to use for mixing face masks or scrubs with! I never really have anything to mix my own face masks on so this little dish is going to come in great use!

*Rose Geranium face balm - an 100% organic balm to add to your skin care routine!

*Miss Patisserie- Wake shower steamer - Simply place this in your shower & it helps stimulate your mind & relaxes you. It smells so lovely! Like peppermint!

*Stoats - Raspberry & Honey Porridge Oat Bar- The bar is made of Scottish oats, raspberry pieces, honey & pumpkin & sunflower seeds.

*Skin & Tonic London - Gentle scrub - this comes as a powder base which can be made into a face mask or scrub! You can add honey or any other ingredients to make up your own facial product.

*Evolve Organic Beauty - Citrus Blend Aromatic Wash - This can be used as a hand wash or a body wash. It smells so good! It's definitely an energetic fragrance to help wake you up in the morning!

I absolutely love this box! It is the first one I have tried like this & I have to say it's so good! It's the perfect subscription box full of beauty products to help you relax & pamper yourself with!

So if like me you love subscription boxes, you like to try new beauty products that are organic & natural then these boxes are perfect for you!
