Happy Sunday everyone!
I know I think I say it every week but that's another week gone by & Christmas is now fast approaching us. I really do not understand where this year has gone. Or is it just me who feels like this year has flown past?! I don't think I'm the only one to think it...
I am off work this week coming too so I plan on chilling out abit & catching up on a few things. As well as some appointments I have during the week. So no doubt it will fly by.
This year I did not get to go on holiday abroad. Much to my disappointment.. I think I'm at that age now where like all of my friends have children of their own so when you're single, don't have your own children but your friends do it's a lot harder to find someone to go away with. Either that or I'm just abit of a Larry... But that's the joys of it when you get older I guess.
I absolutely love going on holiday! Especially abroad! I love visiting new countries & taking it in. Not to mention the lovely warm, sunshine. I like to have a decent tan. After all life is much better with a tan. That much is so true! Especially this time of year with the weather being so horrible & when things are rubbish I just want to go away someone lovely & warm & be on a beach sipping cocktails. If only!
So during the winter I do at times like to fake things abit & have abit of a tanning session. Especially on a night out & your legs are out. I don't wish to be mistaken for a snowman or something! So I find a decent fake tan & make up to help compliment a healthy glow. To fake that I may have been away loving life in the sun. Because let's face it we all do it at times.
Two essential products when you have tanned is a bronzer & highlighter. Not only can they be used to help you achieve that more tanned, healthy glow look but it can also be used as a contour &
highlighter product for your everyday look. I will admit I cannot go a day now without contouring in some way.
So I have got the Sunkissed high lights & the Sunkissed Moroccan escape set. Which contains a huge bronzer also combined with a highlighter & also comes with a lip crayon.
The high lights comes in a squeezy tube which can be used in two different ways. You can mix a little bit of the high lights in with your foundation to give the whole of your face that healthy glow. Or you can just dab a little to the tops of your cheeks, down your nose, under the brow & my favourite your Cupid's bow. This will give it that healthy glow shimmery look. When i tried abit of the high lights on my hand for the first time I was amazed by the shimmer & texture! It's such a nice creamy feel which doesn't feel too heavy on your skin & it gives such a lovely shimmery colour to your skin.
The bronzer is as it says a nice warm brown shade, with the highlighter in the compact one of those lovely gold shimmery shades. It's actually a gorgeous shade. I do love a good shimmery highlighter I must say! The bronzing powder can be applied with a brush to the face & body & can just be washed off. Or like I said previously you can use it as a contouring & highlight product.
The lip crayon comes in a quite berry pink kind of shade. It's not like one of those bright pink shades. You could definitely get away with using it as a winter kind of colour. Which is nice & easy to apply being in the crayon form that it is in.
I will definitely be trying out there tanning range after trying these three products out. I have to say I am impressed with the quality for the price of them & aren't one of those bad smellying kind of products either.
