Get Flip Flop Ready

I know right now I wish I was on a beach, sipping cocktails, soaking up the sun in a bikini. But that could not be anymore further than how things are right now. Instead I'm working & the weather is not really holiday weather. How rubbish is that?

I always think for the summer there certain summer preparations that are needed. Whether you are going on holiday or not they are essential I think. Especially when in the summer you are wearing less clothes & you have your feet out. There is nothing worse than seeing someone who has flip flops on but they have dry, cracked balls of the feet, or long unpainted toe nails. Just anything that does not look nice. I cannot bare that at all. I mean your feet are hidden under socks all winter so for the summer they definitely need some TLC.  

Superdrug have recently launched a whole new range especially created for the summer to make sure you have the perfect flip flop feet all ready for your holiday season. They have covered everything you need from making sure you get those baby soft heels to treating verruca's to ensure you are pool ready!

I was lucky enough to pick up the range from Superdrug to ensure my feet are ready for the flip flop weather!

The range is made up of:

Rapid-Pedi Electronic Foot File - £24.95 

This is a beauty tool that everyone should have in their homes! The Rapid-Pedi is perfect for getting smooth feet quicker & rather than using a file or stone this makes your life so much easier! It comes with 2 roller heads, 2 x AA batteries as the rapid-pedi runs on 
batteries which is handy because it means you can take it anywhere & do not have to worry about plugging it in. You can use it on the go & take it away on holidays. It also come with a cleaning brush to clean it with so it is more hygienic. The Foot file could not be anymore easier to use! You simply:

*Ensure you have clean feet, then apply light to medium pressure against the hard skin of the foot using small circular movements.

*Use the brush to wipe away any debris from the roller or unit.

*To change the roller head you push in the button of the underside of the unit & pull the roller head forwards. Then to reattach the roller head, push the head straight against the unit until you hear it click. The roller lasts for about 3 months if it is used once a week. If you use it everyday the roller will need to be changed monthly. 

Intensive Foot Cream - £3.49 

This cream is perfect for ensuring your feet remain well moisturised & conditioned. Which leave them feeling super soft & smooth. The cream contains Aloe Vera to help soothe your feet & Vitamin B5 which gives conditioning properties. All you have to do is:

*Smooth the rich cream onto your feet & gently massage it in. *Apply it frequently after taking a bath.

Exfoliating Foot Scrub - £3.49

This foot scrub is great for removing dead skin & leaves your skin feeling soft. It contains gentle exfoliants, Jojoba seed oil & Aloe Vera which leaves your feet feeling super soft & smooth. 

Cracked Heel Repair Cream - £3.49
This product is a lifesaver to anyone who suffers with cracked heels. This repair cream is specially formulated with 20% Urea, which is a highly effective ingredient which rehydrates & helps to repair rough dry & cracked skin to leave it feeling soft & smooth. You are meant to see results within 3days! Which sounds pretty impressive I have to say. All you do is:

*Apply to dry & clean feet.
*Apply twice a day, once in the morning & once in the evening.

Hard Skin Remover - £2.99
This does as the description of the item says it gently removes the build up of hard skin on the feet. Simply in a gentle action rub at the affected areas of hard skin. 

Sore Spots (Invisible Gel) - £3.49
These are self adhesive soft gel spots which help to relieve areas of your feet where your shoes have rubbed. These are perfect if you are on holiday & you've been walking a lot & your shoes or flip flops have rubbed or even if you on a night out & your heels rub. These clear gel spots securely stay in place & give you relief. They should be used only once but they can be reused if they washed. All you have to do is:

*Remove any dirt or debris from your shoes
*Peel off the spots from the backing
*Stick the spots with the sticky side to the shoes as required to stop the rubbing.

Ball Of Foot Cushions - £3.49
Like the sore spots these another product which help make your shoes seem that less painful. These things are perfect for a night out & you wear those high heels that make you feet feel so painful! These are reusable soft gel pads which help cushion & protect the balls of your feet. They are the perfect survival tool for a girls night out! You have to do is:

*Remove any dirt or debris from your shoes
*Remove the protective backing & apply the pad sticky side down to the area of the shoe where the ball if the foot sits
*Each pad has a L for left or R for right on them to ensure they fit perfectly in your shoes.

Studio Dual Sided Emery Boards & buffers - £1.32 & £2.32
These are essential parts to everyone summer feet ready kit!
Not only can emery boards be used for your finger nails they can also be used to file down any sharp edges to your toe nails. The 3 piece nail file kit comes with 3 boards, one to file the nails, one to buff the nails & one to make them shine. Perfect tools for any nail kit.

Verruca Treatment Plasters - £3.49
This is the perfect item to carry around on holiday especially for families. Verruca's can easily be picked up around the pool on holiday. These are medicated plasters which contain Salicylic Acid which help to remove verrucas. All you have to do is:

*Apply to dry & clean feet
*Get a medicated plaster from the packet & remove it from the backing paper.
*Firmly push the plaster down ensuring the paste is over the verruca.
*Be sure to change the plaster every two days & clean the surrounded area & gently remove any dead skin.
*Repeat the treatment until all 4 medicated plasters have been used over an 8days period.
*When you remove the 4th plaster, cover the area with a protective plaster & allow it to heal.
*Ensure to wait 4 weeks before repeating the treatment.
