Flutter Those Lashes

Hello Everyone!

I am such a sucker for false lashes. I literally could not live without them! I end up buying quite a few I have to say. But I definitely think that are needed to create the perfect make up look.

I will say I am pretty lucky I am naturally blessed with long lashes of my own but I love to have fuller & longer lashes. I do use individual lashes when I want like a more natural look plus it means I don't have the hassle of having to put mascara on. It kind of means you have a wake up & go kind of look. Which is very ideal right? But the most common style of lashes I use are strip lashes. Some people don't get on with them & always say to me how can you use these & apply them with no issues. I guess over time I've mastered them & I have a love for them now you could say. They really complete the a make up look I think.

The kind of style of strip lashes I mostly buy I would say are the wispy kind of style. Because I think they look pretty natural, they are soft & not like a harsh bold lash. Which I think can sometimes look too fake & ruin the make up look your creating. But everyone has their own favourite styles.

I have always been a sucker for the brand Ardell they are such great quality & good value for money. My most commonly brought styles from Ardell are:

*Demi Wispies
*Wispies
*Demi

But recently I have been on the look out to try some new lashes & got two different brands to try out.

Kiss Lash Couture Faux Mink Collection

I have tried out the false nails from Kiss a few months ago & loved

them. They were reasonably priced, great quality & lovely designs. But recently Kiss have just launched their False Mink eye lash range & I have to say the styles of lashes are so nice! They are a more fuller style of lashes but for nights out they are perfect. They are knot free, weightless volume & curl & also reusable up to around 10 times if they are properly looked after. They are also contact lens friendly so they really are suitable for anyone.

The style I got is Little black dress. They are a gorgeous full lash but still look natural & not too bold & harsh. They are also easy to apply.

*Lay the false lash on top of your natural lash & trim if needed
*Apply adhesive along the lash band
*Wait 30 seconds for the adhesive to get abit tacky
*Apply the lash along your own natural lash line
*Hold & press the band lightly in place to ensure it sticks

I did also purchase the Strip Lash adhesive in black.
I have to be careful when it comes to eye lash glue because some I have used before have made my eye lids become very itchy & sore after use. I can have quite sensitive eyes when it comes to things like that. But this one is fab! It even comes with like a brush tip applicator so it is easy to apply & you can apply it thinly to the lash band without it going over & ruining the lashes. The glue is super strong hold but a gentle formula. Made up with Biotin & blueberry extract.

Kiss products are pretty easy to find in your local Superdrug store or you can find them at:

Eye Candy - Style 007

Eye Candy offer great quality lashes on a budget. The brand offers several different styles for affordable prices. They truly do something for everyone. They cover the more wispy lashes to subtle, to more fuller dense lashes. There are 15 styles of lashes from Eye candy in all.

The lashes I got were style number 007 which like I said previously about the kind of style lash I go for these are them. The lashes are
a great length, corner swept & also a wispy kind of style. So they have like a feathered look about them. But are perfect for a natural lash kind of look. They give a great volume to your own lashes & make your eyes stand out. Another great thing about them is they are light so they do not feel heavy on your eyes. Which I do like
because some lashes can seem quite heavy on your eyes. These even come with a lash adhesive but I am not sure what that is like as I used my normal eye lash glue to apply them.
