Just A Make Up Haul

Happy Saturday Everyone! 
The weekend is here woooo. I swear you must all think all she does she live for the weekend & I think I really do. I just leave to have time to myself & to like have nice lay in's, go shopping, catch up with friends & things like that! 

You may have noticed before on my previous posts I love make up! 
Now yes I do love my Mac cosmetics, Benefit & brands like that but I have to say most of my make up collection these days is built up of Make Up Revolution. For anyone who has not heard of this brand where have you been living?! It is a high street brand that is both so affordable & amazing quality! I absolutely love the brand! I have so many eyeshadow palettes, highlighters, lip sticks, brushes & other items from them. When I buy from them I tend to not just be able to purchase the one item I go all out but I justify it to myself because I think the amount I spend on several bits you could purchase like just the one lipstick from Mac. 

So this week I did the terrible thing of taking a peek on their instagram page & that was bad of me because on their page there you get to see peoples actual swatches & things of the shades & products & I love that because I think you actually get to see the product. I have seen that Make Up Revolution had brought out a lip kit along the lines of Kylie Jenner & I have wanted to try them for a while. So that was my main reason for ordering but me being me, one lip kit turned into two & then other bits got added in to the basket & that was it. How did that happen?!

But I am in love with all the pieces I purchased & once again I am amazed at how pigmented the products are & the quality of them. I really cannot explain how much I love their products. 

So I thought I would do a kind of haul with you & show you the pieces I got...

Strobe Highlighter - Gold Addict
I love a highlighter & bronzer & to me you just have to have them as part of your make up collection. This highlighter is such a lovely bronze colour & it is so pigmented & shimmery. It is gorgeous.

Awesome Metals Foil Finish
This mini kit comes with a liquid eye primer, mixing tray & a metals eyeshadow. You drop a small drop of the liquid eye primer into the tray, then put a small bit of the metals colour into the tray & mix it together. Then use your finger or a brush to apply to your eyelids. You can build the colour as much as or as little as you like. I have tried so many of their eyeshadows before but not a mini kit like this. I am a sucker for the more pigmented colours so I thought a foil finish look colour would be so up my street! So I cannot wait to give this a try.

Ultra Cover and Concealer Palette - Light 
This palette I do already have & currently use.I use the palette to conceal under my eyes & then I use their banana powder to blot under my eyes with them. I do not have the lightest skin but I am pretty pale unless I have fake tan on or it's the summer & I get a tan so for me this palette the shades are the perfect tone for my skin. The texture of them is not too heavy on the skin either which I like because I cannot stand heavy products that tend to cake the skin. The palette comes with 8 different shades. So there is something for every if you have pretty light skin. The palette can also be purchased in medium/darker colours too.

Unicorns Heart - Rainbow Highlighter
This product is not actually a make up revolution product it is from the I heart make up range. Which is also on the same website Tam beauty. Along with some other brands. I am a sucker for a highlighter I have to say. I have seen the rainbow highlighter about for some time but haven't tried it but this one comes in a cute heart shape pot & I just loved it. When swatching it you can see the each individual colours & it doesn't look over the top which I will say I did worry about. But you can use just one colour at a time if you wanted to & have a small enough brush to apply it with. The highlighter is SO pigmented it is beautiful! The packaging it comes in is also. It doesn't look cheap of plastic like. 

Retro Luxe Lip Kits
The lip kits I got one from the matte collection & one from the metallic collection. Both come with a lip liner & a liquid lipstick. A few brands now are trying to take the idea from Kylie Jenner's kits but I did not want to spend a fortune of one of those if I wasn't going to really use it. So I went for the cheaper option & have wanted to try these for a while. I picked up the colour We Rule from the metallic collection which is a coppery kind of colour. It is gorgeous! I sure it on someone on the make up revolutions instagram page & fell in love with the colour. I had to have it! Plus I thought it would be such a lovely shade for a night out or like a autumn/winter kind of colour. The other colour I got was the colour Reign from the matte collection. This colour I also saw on their instagram page. This shade is a pink kind of colour.But very slight pinkish. If you have seen the pink plaid Mac cosmetics colour it is kind of like that & I love that colour! The packaging of the liquid lipstick & lip liner is great. It is not cheap looking at all. The liquid lipstick comes with a gold top & it has a normal applicator sponge attached to it also. The liquid is pretty thick & stays on for a great amount of time. They both just glide on well too. They are both such beautiful colours!

Because I ordered around Valentines I was not aware but when I opened up my package in it came a note to say Happy Valentines day & you get a free gift with your order. So inside was a free eyeshadow palette! The palette was from the I heart make up range. The palette is called Fastlove. It is made up of 32 exclusive eyeshadows. 22 pearl colours & 10 matte shades. They are made up of shimmery colours, pearl & matte colours. Which are all gorgeous colours! I really cannot get enough of them!
